Seriously its also hilarious that he talks low-skill for Junk players when he literally mains the low-skill COD bait character whose ult is a hit scan, dude is so out of touch.
Onetricking is an artform, no matter what character you end up using.
Junkrat is simply one of the most attractive one-trick options due to having a very beginner-friendly skill floor and a highly demanding skill ceiling at high ranks.
He is also a more likeable personality compared to most of the roster. He's just a little guy, doing crimes, hurting the feelings of hitscan elitists.

@@snailmail5873 Well, my philosophy will always be play whoever you feel most comfortable with, no matter the meta.
Obviously you'd need to gauge your character's strength to the meta, but, I mean, does it really matter so much? You can climb to grandmaster with any character with enough dedication, no matter how dogwater (Doomfist) they are.
Hell, Contenders actually does have competitive players that specialise around just one character. I think it was Aww Yeah that had a Junkrat OT AND a Ball OT. Fun change of pace compared to the real meta-heavy OWL.

I love how the one kill he called "no skill" was an impressive display of knowing how to take advantage of an explosion's knockback, which is something I rarely see taken advantage of in most games.

watching this is funny because Metro is definitely a great hitscan player, but his aim on kiriko in his recent game is really meh and sometimes looks metal rank.
It's just him being salty here ofc (saying that junkrat is rng/no skill) but just imagine him trying to play junkrat who has to aim wayyyy more (and multiple abilities) vs kiriko

Metro also complains about hanzo and says he is rng but when he played hanzo on stream and died his excuse is I lost the lottery.(I know a lot if hanzo shots sometimes are RNG but its not like 100% of the shots are luck based.)
