Interestingly, there is a Dan Rather Report from 2005ish where he had the entire QA dept. of the paper ballot printers, where QA guys said, they knew they were sending the wrong type of ballots to Florida due to Florida's humidity, but were order to send them anyway by their higher ups.

I literally had the same thought while listening to Wade. I even had a mini-vision of having to work with them and be forced to get along and not say anything. That will give a person anxiety. I know the Lord says to love our neighbor but I'm going to need some extra grace for that.

Whether you’re a conservative or liberal, I can’t stand these types of shows. The host just sits there and sanctimoniously talks down to you like you’re an idiot for 30 minutes. There is no counterpoint as they edit every clip to reinforce their narrative. Now most of these shows are from the left so that tells something about their voters.

I know this is a minor point in the whole picture, but I want to say it. I'm an American who lived most of my life in Canada. The idea paper ballots would cause disorder, rather than resolving it, is ridiculous. In Canadian Federal elections you aren't allowed to use anything other than a standardized, simple paper ballot in the "X by the name" style. For a country geographically larger than the USA, a GDP one third less than California and almost the same population as California.
When you consider that less than 20% of Canada's land mass is inhabited it's actually quite a small country. Especially when you consider that 90% of Canada's population live within 200 km of the U.S. border.
I don't really disagree with anything you've said about Oliver, I just wonder how aware you are of the fact that you're doing the same thing on the opposite side.
