Received mine today, same as yours, in black. I was a little worried I’d find 36mm too small, but it looks great. Finally scratched the itch for an authentic inspired small seconds.
MY black one arrived today. Another great watch from Timefactors. Only mentioned by real enthusiasts since freebies and paid reviews are not done. Says a lot about all the "impartial reviewers" out there. Still those who know, know.
I am very fussy about thickness and I am more and more drawn to watches that are slim on the wrist. That said, I do not find that this watch looks thick on my wrist. It is definitely appears thicker than the PRS-29, but most importantly it doesn't look thick to me.
Lovely genuine overview of the watch. Just FYI the anti-magnetic properties mean it’s less likely the hair spring becomes magnetized which would cause the watch to keep erratic time. The broad arrow (crow’s foot) - although this is not a British military issued watch (broad arrow indicates it is the property of the MOD) it does, I believe, have a genuine NATO part/stock number which adds an element or credibility to what is a nod to the past/military provenance.
Got lucky on the last shop opening, really looking forward to receive the watch. The only thing I´m not super fond of are the hands, I just would have preferred syringe hands out of personal preference. They just look better :-). Thanks for the review!
I obtained the cream colored version. Very nice aesthetic. Strap is very comfortable and simple. Lume is indeed surprisingly bright and long lasting for its type. The height surprised me a bit. A little more chunky than I’m used to but doesn’t protrude too much. Still getting used to that. It looks heavier than it really is. Overall it’s subtly different from what I’ve had and a welcome addition to the collection.
That's a tricky question to answer! But I'll try. It doesn't seem like a premium price to me, it seems quite reasonable. The watch was designed in England and I suppose their manufacturing options are relatively limited. Being made in China isn't by default a bad thing, especially when it's so well made - the finish is great and the materials are good quality. Also, the key components - the movement and SuperLuminova - are Swiss. Ultimately I was happy to pay what I paid because I love the watch!
@@WatchesKnivesEDC At the end of the day it's your money and conscious. While I like the appearance and size, I don't care for the path watchmakers are taking today, including the "Swiss".
I haven't done a scientific test, and I'm usually an automatic watch guy so always get caught out by my manual watches, but it's in the region of 40 hours. Essentially I wind it in the morning, forget to wind it the following day and it's stopped by nighttime 🙄
😉 I personally love the dimensions. There are other Dirty Dozen inspired watches out there that are bigger - the Praesidus Dirty Dozen is 38mm, the Vaer A12 is 40mm.

I really love what Timefactors does. Unfortunately I’ve never landed my hands on one yet.

Great review,! Do you know where i can purchase a strap like that or how is it called? Thanks!
Thanks! I don't but a search for 'two-piece cotton watch strap' brings up some likely candidates.
I think its the best choice at that price no doubt
Great review i think i will get it great price
Why a premium price for a watch as you've mentioned, made in China?

I’m curious what power reserve are you actually getting when the watch is fully wound?

Is the thickness 11.5mm? It seems thicker that 11.5mm
It is 11.5mm. I agree it seems thicker - it's the proportions (36mm) and the boxiness of the case I think that combine to create this illusion.
Very nice, But make it in a 40mm version, Its 2024
