- I went to a Vietnamese wedding! My British friend, Mark, and my Vietnamese friend, Thúy, got married in the town Phú Thọ, right outside of Hanoi, Vietnam. My boyfriend and I went to the ceremony and learned all about various Vietnamese wedding traditions, foods, customs, and more! Yes I do to! I've also been to a wedding in Ecuador before, it was amazing! It was a marriage between a Dutch man and an Ecuadorian woman so their was mixture of traditions. This wedding was awesome to see as well, the food was definitely much better than food at American weddings! HAHA! I hope I get to go to more weddings different from my culture in the future! 💒👰

Fantastic video, I really felt like I was right in the middle of the wedding, and I Love the music! I also really liked how at the end, you filmed the family taking the group pictures, and the conversations with Mark explaining some of the details of the wedding. Such a beautiful couple. So interesting, their weddings are very similar to American weddings. I went to an American wedding two years ago. I didn't know Vietnamese music was so modern. Great video.
Yes, I was surprised by those two things too! However I must note all Vietnamese weddings differ from each other. Since this had a British groom I think they tried to Westernize the wedding for him and his family and friends that were guests. LOL! Where was the wedding you went to in America?

I guess the groom said he pretended to do the shots after they made it to half way around the tables! HAHAHAHA. Also I don't think it was straight up vodka, I think it was rice wine. LOL. But me too! Too funny!

@@DeannaTroyTravels I went to vietnam in October 2019 and loved it. I met my now fiancee over there and we plan to get married once the pandemic is over. I wanted to get an idea what a vietnamese wedding is like haha

Just travel to Vietnam and make some friends! They tend to invite lots of people to the weddings, the more the merrier! So it can happen! Also I've been learning that many couples have Vietnamese traditional weddings in other areas of the world, so maybe you don't have to go to Nam after all.🇻🇳😍
