"a tribe of ducks"... Thank you for this peaceful walk on a day that I needed an outing; appreciate you taking me along, as I'm sure others do as well.
Thanks smartoldlady, I'm always glad that you enjoy coming along. 🙂
‘Tribe of ducks’ is a very charming expression
And a huge thank you for cleaning up after thoughtless people..
Thanks, it's good to be encouraged in that aspect of what I do 🙂
We need modest platoons of Tom Burleigh's up and down the country, tending and guarding and Womblising our waterways.
Yes indeed. Womblising is the perfect term for this!
I hope that happens one day. 🙂
Nice comment.
Are you planning to clone Tom?
hear! hear!
So loved the walk and your voice is beautiful and calming, thank you
Aw, thank you for a lovely comment. 🙂
The music you chose is perfectly lovely, Sir. Thank you for today's lark.
Thank you for your kind complement, such encouragement keeps me writing it. 🙂
Tom Burleigh. You write your own music? No wonder it fits the video so well.
You are a great example of how we all should be - conscientious of the environment, appreciative of nature, thoughtful of others and above all; kind of spirit. You are simply THE BEST!
Pretty sure there are many people better than I... but I try, and thanks for appreciating what I can manage.
I like your videos very much. Everything you find is so interesting! I love that you take trash out with you. Thank you, and happy hunting!
Thank you, I wish I could take more of the trash, there's always more than I can carry. But I'm glad people enjoy my videos, and hopefully they will encourage more people to do a bit of litter picking 🙂
If we allll picked up a little bit every time we were out and taught our kids what's right....imagine how much better it would be.
Tom, thank you for another beautiful, peaceful lark. It's always a pleasure to see you've uploaded a new adventure!
Thank you for a lovely and encouraging comment 🙂
Thankyou for sharing your walk & finds. It is beautifull along that river. Goodnight Tom.
Thank you, I am often surprised too by how beautiful the place I live can be, in the hidden places that people don't know to go. 🙂
Great video Tom, I'm always happy when I see you've put up a new lark. you and Nicola are my favorite mudlarkers. can't wait for your next adventure.
Kemper B
My favourite too...👍
Aw thank you, Nicola is my favorite too, and one of the main inspirations behind me trying to make some of my own. I don't think I'm as good as her, but I'm glad people enjoy what I do.🙂
Such a mellow and delightful lark. The pieces of pottery were just lovely and, as always, I love the stoneware pot. The pleasing sound of the river along with your poetic observances and wonderfully dry wit makes such a charming and warm time spent with you. I always look forward to your video's. Til next time, take care. xx ~Jen
Thanks so much for your continued support Jen, your comments are always lovely and encouraging 🙂Till next time, warm wishes. Tom.
Thoroughly appreciate the efforts you go to to take your viewers with you. Your choice of places, commentary and follow up of provenance of finds is superb. You are dedicated to what you do, and your approach is well received by your many followers. Best regards from Aussie, Bob
Thanks Bob 🙂I'm glad you see how much I'm tryng to put into these videos. Not always succeeding, but hopefully getting better over the long term.Warm regards from UK, Tom.
I just LOOVE your videos, Tom! Carry on!
Thanks Deb, I plan to 🙂
It was nice to catch a glimpse of you! Lol
I was feeling brave when I left those bits in... I'll probably be back to severely camera shy, and surgically removing any hint of a reflection for the next videos 😉
@@tomburleigh9261 awwww well I'm glad I got to see the face that goes with that incredible voice. Also, your face being slightly distorted, fits your personality. Lol 😎
@@tomburleigh9261 Don't do that, you're a part of nature too. Unless you just want to remain anonymous for privacy. I respect that, but please don't be shy.
Tom Burleigh oh please don’t be so shy. Lest we think you a vampire. Had you not pointed it out, I would never have seen the glimpse as I am looking in the water for treasure. The water was marvelously smooth!
I do wish to remain a little anonymous, I'm sure that almost all of the people who watch my videos are lovely, but I have had a stalker or two in the past. Plus, I am very, very camera shy... I do all the editing, and if I catch a glimpse of myself in a reflection or a direct shot, I have a reaction commesurate with fingernails down the blackboard. Could well be part Vampire. 🙂
Wonderful mudlarking Mr Burleigh. Really enjoyed the serenity of the flowing water and your gentle commentary. Thank you.
Thank you too, for watching, and writing a lovely and encouraging comment🙂
I will never understand some human beings , to go to such a beautiful place as the Riverside , watch the babbling water , see the lovley wildlife then chuck in a an old bike to rust away , they must be monsters ! Thank you for doing your little bit of cleaning up as you go , if only everyone did what you do , I do realise that some of the rubbish comes from old Victorian dumps but a lot of it is modern and we all should know better , and all learn to tread a little softer on this earth , thank you Tom , t's lovley to see you care ! 😊
I suspect most of the bikes get chucked in off bridges and over walls, there are many in this area which wall off the river and make it so that it's largely out of sight, and out of mind. I do see some good progress being made away from mass consumerism, and towards eccological protection; but it's slow going... and there's already so much to clean up. What I do is small, but it hopefully inspires others to do a small amount too 🙂
I just love listening to you speak and wish that I could have you read me a book in your so very eloquent way, enjoy your adventures. Thank you
Thank you 🙂 I am planning another youtube channel of book readings... early days yet, but planning and preparing 🙂
Tom Burleigh how exciting! 😊😊😊
Perfect afternoon x you are a star for cleaning up the river xxx Tom you are the man. Larking is lovely thanks for taking us with you.
Thanks Sue. Could still do more to clean up the rivers, but hopefully inspiring other people to do a bit too. Glad you enjoyed coming along🙂
Another interesting video. Fascinating finds. Love your commentary, your voice and the music. It’s perfect. You’re so knowledgable. Thanks Tom 💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦💧💦
Thanks Marina... I'm just a beginner really, and there's always so much still to learn. 🙂
This was the most relaxing, smooth, gentle camera work that I've seen- ever. So often folk wave the camera around, panning way too fast, jerking their body around...making it almost enough to provoke motion sickness. You also have an amazing "ASMR" voice. :D
Thanks Jenesis Hones, I'm still learning with my camera-work, I do occasionally fall short. I'm kinda planning an ASMR/audiobook channel too 🙂
What a lovely journey to make before I close my eyes tonight. Thank you for taking me with you once again.
And thanks for coming along.🙂
We got a reflection of you! We got a reflection of you! Perhaps an on-screen appearance won't be too far behind? You have such a pretty river to search along. Enjoyable video as always. Thank you for bringing us along.
I don't know... it's certainly a long term aim, but the camera shyness continues unabated. As always, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😉
@@tomburleigh9261 Only when and if you're ready. I'm satisfied with your voice, finds and lovely waterways. :)
That knot weed is a horrible scourge here as well. Pulling it up dropping bits of it only spreads it around. Takes just a thumbnail size piece to take root elsewhere.
Yes, terrrible plant to have been willingly brought in; sold in Garden centers even fairly recently. I hope the flood waters and fast waters keep it from getting to the upper courses where the fish spawn, apparently it takes most of the oxygen out of the water.
Hi Tom, another nice video. Did i hear you say japanese knotweed growing aggressively along the riverbank? The stem of this plant is apparently edible. You will have to peel off the skin , slice it then boil for a couple of minutes. Stir fry with the meat of your choice, season it well and serve with hot rice. Looking forward to your next video already. Cheers! Tammy🌻
Hi Tammy, yes, sadly lots of Japanese knotweed this year. I'll remember all that for next year, it's a bit too woody already... and already seeding; so it's a bad idea for me to disturb it myself as I would be breaking the law if I carried any seeds away with me and caused any spread of it. Glad you enjoyed the video, cheers! Tom.🙂
Thank you again for your peaceful, calming videos. Always a pleasure to watch. Please keep doing them.
Always a pleasure to see how much people enjoy my videos, thank you. 🙂
Lovely sun dappling between the trees. "Dolly, dolly in the pond, don't you know your head is gone?" Soothing music Tom, soothing! Today's the 4th of July and too many people here. I'm heading far away from them. Down to a secluded spot on the Spokane River. Time for lark by the new day. Blessings friend.
Thanks Jeriann, I hope you had a lovely time on the Spokane River, and found some good suff. Blessings be upon you too. 🙂
Perhaps most of the figurines were discarded because they had already lost their heads?!
I enjoy the way you care for them and their somewhat broken personalities! I can imagine you listening for their stories...
Thanks again for this beautiful spot - as you mentioned the birdsongs, I had trouble sorting out which ones were coming from my lovely back yard!
Wow what a voice! If you were in the USA you would like an evening DJ who played rhythm and blues or classical music. I so enjoyed this.
Thanks 🙂 I am hoping my videos do eventually open doors to other opportunities; audio book recording and narrating jobs could be fun. I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Could you get some kind of cross-body satchel type thing? It might help. That “pregnant” woman might not be pregnant. That’s how women used to look. Looking at old artwork makes me feel really skinny!😂
I do have some cross-body bags, but they're not really big enough for the amount of stuff I find, and they're not waterproof either. The benefits of the bags I use are that I can put them down in water, I can hold them away from my clothes, they're generally easy to just throw stuff into, easy to clean, and they're cheap and easily replaced... they do of course have the downside of being handheld, but they generally suffice. I figured the figurine might depict a pregnant woman because of the age of it; I think it's probably mid 19th to early 20th century, when women were usually portrayed as much skinnier than those of the 18th century and earlier... I could of course be wrong, I'm not very up on porcelain figurines. 🙂
Beautiful video love n watch all your video s amazing voice thank u
Thanks Raima Mohommed 🙂
Nice peaceful video , always helps when I've had a rough day. Thank you Tom.
Thanks JH HJ, I'm glad my videos can help relieve stress. 🙂
Ah, I needed that....another lovely lark with your wonderful wit. As for Google Earth, I travel with that as well. I and my fellow armchair travelers can only appreciate your larks vicariously....thank you for taking us all along...fortunately, we're not a heavy load to carry. Thanks also for doing your part to clean up the waterways of plastics, even snatching them from the swiftly flowing river. Great music and commentary, Tom...you are poetic in your presentation with your calm, lyrical voice.
Thank you, that's a wonderfully encouraging comment. 😊 I wish I had the energy to do more, but I'm still very glad my efforts are appreciated.
So happy to see another of your beautiful walks. Thank you for taking the time to record and share your finds.
I'm glad my videos give you a little happiness 🙂
Thanks again Tom. Your music is perfect for these videos. 👏🏼👍🏼
Thanks Diane, I'm glad you like it 😊
A "Bottom on the bottom"! I love your commentary, you should be making Audio books, with that charming voice. Awesome finds, I love the blue and white ceramics. The dreaded Knotweed! New England is infested too!. My husband has to battle a patch in my neighbor's yard that is threatening to come through the fence. In fact there is a strip of it growing in a line through the middle of our neighborhood. We have it surrounded - manicured lawns and gardens and this in our midst. If we all got together, we could eradicate it en masse. I can just see it. I would play the "Giant Hogweed" song by Genesis on the loudspeaker from the little church, as we all march to our back yards with torches and pitchforks (for instagram and facebook) . And a backhoe of course, shoveling would be too hard.
Thank you, I have plans for a second youtube channel where I read stories.... just have to get a decent mic, some appropriate footage, and get started.
Knotweed is indeed a tenacious monster of a plant, I like your dramatic flare for dealing with it. The backhoe would work... if the soil is then carefully sifted and no seeds allowed to escape. Good luck with the upcoming the battle; Cry 'Havoc!, and let slip the dogs of war.
Tom you’re truly a lovely find so glad the Northern Mudlarks introduces you to me I subscribed immediately. I enjoy your videos and the sound of your voice I find it wonderful that you reply to every comment and great that I can go with you as I am from the United States, Indiana and will never get to see your lovely country in person Thank you for sharing your larks with us all👍🏻💕
Thanks Lori, and sorry it's taken me so long to get to this comment; busy week, so many projects and plans and so little time. I'm sad to say that it won't be long before I can no longer manage to reply to every comment and message, it's getting to be more than 15 hours of doing so per video. The Northern Mudlarks are such lovely people, I'm glad some of their lovely audience likes what I do too. 🙂
Hi Tom. Just found your videos and am blitzing through them. ( I live and work in China and on the TV there's 999 channels but nothing on.) Can I ask you what camera/equipment are you using? And do you add narration to the video during editing? I only ask because you are so precise with your commentary - I know I'd be all over the place with aah's and um's and bloody hell's if I slipped. Anyway I am enjoying what you do - keep on doing it.
Hi Rob. I use a Go-Pro Hero Seven Black, with a Rode VideoMicro microphone and I do do some of the narration at home during editing too... I'm aiming towards 100% live, but I too am prone to aah's and um's and little expletives here are there... and river sounds knock out the midrange of my vocals, making them un-usable, so I don't bother speaking when it's at all noisy; at least until I've got some better kit. I'm glad you're enjoying my videos. 🙂
A relaxing walk, thank you. "...and I don't want to turn up soaking wet to the swimming pool" made me chuckle. Then it struck me as something I've heard before, but for the life of me can't remember where.
When I said it, it rang a bell too, and... I can't place it either. Google isn't much help either. Sorry. Glad you enjoyed the walk though 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 No worries, I'm sure it will pop into my head at some random, unexpected time. Thank you. :-)
Thank you for another great amd peaceful video. Love the things you find. My favorite episodes are the bottle dump videos. Those are fun to me. Show us some artistic creations soon. Happy Hunting until the next one.
Thanks Elizabeth, I'm planning on a few videos at the bottle dump... soon. 🙂
I really look forward to your videos, your voice is so calming and I love the music that’s played. Loved the Grave robber poem/comic strip, you’re a very talented man. Keep up the great work 😀😀
Thanks so much Emma, I'm glad you enjoyed the poem, and that you enjoy so much in my videos. 🙂
Always make sure you dont take any mud with you as you can carry knotweed seeds out with you, there is a very big fine if it is proved that you have spread it to other places. My advice is to stay well clear of any knotweed. You have to remember if you take it home with you and it seeds itself in your garden your house will become worthless buyers will run a mile.
Just a heads up your videos are very good and i enjoy them just be careful as there are big fines and in some cases can lead to a prison sentence.
Thanks, good advice. I walked through the river to get back, so should have washed my boots of any seeds pretty well, I don't think I disturbed any of it, so it's unlikely I knocked any seeds onto my backpack or clothes, but I'll be doubly careful and check in future.
I envy you your area that you live in and near. So peace full. I needed this video as I had a 4 hour dental procedure for a crown. No, I not a royal. But, my jaw is sore and I am extremely tired. So this was a wonderful respite. The piece of pottery has a tomb stone on it? Nice. I have re discovered my favorite video commentator: Ask a Mortician. She has the same since of humor you have and is very into environmental conservation in regards to burials. You might like to view one of her videos. Thank you for such a peaceful trip on the river!
Sorry you've had such a painful day, and glad my video helped make it a tiny bit better. I've heard of Ask a Mortician, I haven't checked her videos out yet though, I will now... thanks 🙂
Thank you from mid winter Canada! After shoveling 6 inches of snow yesterday your wander on the shore is a pleasant few hours of subscription viewing.
Another lovely ramble long the river, Very enjoyable and loving the music.
Thanks Jan 🙂
Is this mudlarking or Lord Of The Rings it's hard to tell I was expecting an Hobbit to jump out at any moment
Alas, the hobbits round here are even more camera shy than I am, I do see tracks in the mud by the riverside, but I guess they must have specially shaped stilts to disguise their tracks as those of deer, and otter, and heron.
After watching your videos I've started moodlarking in my own city, I haven't found many intresting thing, but I enjoyed my walks. Thank you for showing us your videos, keep doing it :)
Thanks Michal, I hope you find something good soon, or at least find beautiful places and have lots of fun. 🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 I've found few nice things yesterday and found also a lot of beautyful placea.
Chinese knotweed grrrrrr !!! When I was a child my mother's neighbours planted it in their garden , for many many years it was a war to keep it out of her beloved garden , I have never known a plant grow and spread so fast , although it was good for making dens in lol !
Yeah, my inner child did really want to create tunnels into that inpenetrable little jungle, and hollow out a hiding place. Shame adult me was busy messing about in the river. 😃
I think that large metal dome thing is a poss stick used to clean clothes in a tub/bath early washing machine lol i think its also called a laundry dolly xx
My granny had one - she used to call it a "posher". For mashing dirty clothes in a tub...in the days before washing machines
Thanks, I'm not sure if it's one of those or a Smudge Pot, or something else... Most poss sticks have holes at the bottom edge, to help agitate.... and I can't find one with a screw fitting like this has either. Thanks for pointing me towards them, you may well be right. 🙂
Thank you again for allowing me to tag along on your mudlarking. It’s a great place and you found some lovely things. The little tea strainer is just lovely
Thanks Coni, I agree... the tea strainer is probably my favorite little piece, and I'm going to have to find a use for it one day. 🙂
Bonny location, yes it would be good to see a restoration job,or purely just to identify a metal item Tom,.I believe all that's required for electrolysis is a 12v car battery charger ,soda crystals and some metal, i have never tried it myself so hands up from me for a future video 🙂
Thanks Mandy, I think that's pretty much what I'll be using. I've seen videos on RUclips where they've used salt water as the electrolyte, but that can make chlorine. I will attempt the video fairly soon. 🙂
Hiya tom I'm relaxed now after that cracking place for a wander thanks for all the hard work 👍🇮🇪
Cheers Sid, glad you enjoyed it 🙂
"A bottom on the bottom", lol. Love your peaceful larks!
I was born in West Yorkshire,(I live abroad now) so its lovely to see all the places I know..
Thank you for sharing our lovely county Tom..
Glad you're enjoying seeing it all again. I'm seeing some of it for the first time, and I was born here too 🙂
It is very very beautiful there.
I like your video is very good Galaxy scenery around you that is pretty nice I wish I lived in a place like that I live in the city I know how noisy messy and congestion of it at least you got peace and quiet out there thanks for the video my friend and keep up the good work I'll keep watching
Thanks Phil. I hope you get some peace and quiet someday... you do seem like you don't particularly enjoy the city.
The transition from sound to silence at 9:15 is intoxicating. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you 👍 Looking forward to our next adventure!
Thanks, I was quite happy with that portion of the editing, glad it was appreciated 🙂
Hi Tom hoping this note finds you well and keeping sane. Watched this video again and still enjoyed it. Miss the river walk sounds and the views. How about your doing a reading of Edgar Allen Poe's "the Raven,"?! You would do it justice. 😉Hope you can get out soon👍
Thank you. I do intend to do The Raven one day, but I need to practice a lot; to do it justice I pretty much have to memorize the whole thing... and then I'd also want art and soundtrack to match it. It might be a while. 🙂 I'm going to be doing a few walk videos too, which will include river sounds... just not really allowed to do full mudlarking during lock-down rules.
Waaaw !! Nice river and a beautiful place. The artifact made of clay with a tiny hole through it, might be a churn terracotta stopper.
Thanks for sharing and have a nice day. 🤗
Afraid the stopper doesn't have a hole all the way through, so probably not. But thank you for the idea; I looked into the possibility and learned a few things.🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 :
What a pity !! But don't worry, next time I will hit the nail right on the head ( sorry...into the tiny hole). 😄😄
Becarful out there in the woods alone ok!😊
Thanks, the woods around here are fairly safe, no poisonous creatures to worry about, low crime levels, and I'm fairly agile and not too prone to clumsiness. There's always risk, but I'm careful 🙂
P.S. 🖐🖐 Hands are up for video on electrolysis! Would love to see some of your finds going through a cleaning process to see what lies beneath....
Thanks, it may be a while, but such a video is now planned. 🙂
So happy for this larking adventure !
You commented so quickly, I hope the happiness continued to the end. 🙂
Tom Burleigh it always does! I had to comment before watching full through, for a chance to be first comment. Probably my one and only time! Luck is all pure luck.
Not sure why being first is important yet some make a big deal over it.
The little figure with no head and rounded belly could be a frozen Charlotte doll.
I wonder if the kneeling lady praying is praying for her head?
I did wonder if it might be, but it looks like finer craftsmanship than any other Frozen Charlotte doll I've found. Still could be, I don't know. I had a similar thought about the kneeling lady... poor thing. Congratulations on getting the first comment in ;)
images.app.goo.gl/tNwNaftefiqmbNfh7
Similar shape certainly, but the thing I found doesn't have the agitation holes in the bottom. Could be an earlier one I suppose, thanks 🙂
Enjoyed the meandering music and the peaceful stroll.
Thank you 🙂
Great video Tom! At 19:08, there is a large "rock" in the center right of the screen, with regular lines on it. I thought it looked like an egyptian tomb engraving or something of this type. Probably a bit far for that, but I wonder what it is... Any idea?
Yes, that's a brick. 🙂 Or rather, a smashed piece of one... the markings are stamped into the clay, the makers name and the town it was made in.
Your reflection is just fine, you are just fine, thank you for being you.☮️🇨🇦
Thanks 😊
The path in woods at the beginning of the video looks almost like one of Moscow parks. Actually a few of them which are located on steep banks of Moscow river.
Good to know, I've always fancied exploring Moscow 🙂
Really enjoyed this, just wondering if the copper thingy is the bottom of an paraffin lamp ?
Thanks, it could well be. I think it could either be that, a smudge burner (usually burns a roll of dried herbs), or a vintage oil can.
As always a fab vid. U find such a variety of strangeness. Cant wait 4 the next vid. U never know, u may find some of them missing heads on your next adventure.
I hope so... I've got lots of bodies, and only a few heads. As always, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. 🙂
Well, hi there Tom, it's nice to finally get a glimpse of the man behind the voice and soothing videos. I love watching your walks out in nature.
Thanks Emma, perhaps one day I'll be comfortable enough to show myself un-distorted by moving water, but not quite yet.🙂
@@tomburleigh9261 just do what you do and make wonderfull video's, all the rest is extra :)
frankenstein's flagon ...good one Tom.
🙂
The tiny figure with the rounded belly is exquisite. Could it be a pregnent female? What a find!
Yes, I think she is portraying a pregnant woman, one of the most unusual figurines I've ever found and one I won't countenance changing with craft materials as I sometimes do... I'm glad you appreciate it too. 🙂
You're cleaning up today's detritis so there will be nothing for the future generations to find and remark over the simplest day to day things that we don't treasure and throw away.
True, but today's detritis breaks down into appealing bits of plastic that animals eat, can't digest and die from, so I feel quite OK about removing them. 🙂
Another wonderful video, thank you for posting these.
Thank you for commenting, I'm glad you enjoy them. 🙂
The scenery is amazing ....
Thanks, I agree, I'm very lucky to live where I do 🙂
lol i was wondering what ya looked like...
Would love to see you do some electrolysis....always fun to see what lies inside a rusty chunk of something or other.
It's certainly on my list of videos to make; I've got a bucket full of rust chunks with hidden innards. They're at home, so it'll be after my own lock-down in my girlfriend's flat... probably a lot longer than the official one because she's very high risk.
Great viewing especially after a hard day at work. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks 🙂
When u report that weed growing on the bank....does anyone actually do anything about it ?
Sadly not. I think that stretch of river falls under the authority of the Environment Agency, and they told me to tell the council, who told me to tell the Canals and Rivers Trust, who definitely don't have authority there. 😔
What a beautiful place .. unique finds on this lark. Lots of river glass and figurines! Quite the haul👍🌞✌️
Certainly had a lovely time on this one, it's a place I think I'll be going back to. 🙂
I LOVE your videos, I LOVE listening to you, I LOVE your humor 😉🥰🥰 Catching up on everything and your quickly becoming my favorite 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Can you please let me know about the music in the back ground? It's so wonderful!
Thank you, it's just stuff I've written and recorded for these videos... just me, in my bedroom with a guitar and a cheap interface 😊
you have the most soothing voice to listen to.and the places you lark are so beautiful.
Thank you 🙂
Thanks for sharing
🙂You're welcome.
Such a pretty spot, such a shame about all the rubbish
Certainly is a shame. I've only really filmed in areas I already knew rubbish would be though, as that's where the older finds collect too. I've plenty of very clean, devoid of rubbish streams and rivers around here, but they're rubbish for mudlarking videos. 😕
I’m glad to hear that they’re mostly clean but I understand the mudlarking desire for mess
Yes please to the electrolysis...sounds interesting. 😊
Thanks, I'm collecting the bits I need to do that; just need to find a decent powersource, ideally for very cheap. 🙂
Thank you 😁love it ,beautiful scenery😃
Thanks Mary, glad you enjoyed it so much 🙂
Thank you Tom for the latest video, it was very relaxing and lovely area where you went ☺
Love the finds
Thanks Deb, I'm glad you liked it, and the finds 🙂
this place is so beautiful ! Thanks much for taking us along and sharing your awesome finds :)
Thanks for watching and commenting, and for the encouragement 😊
Always enjoy your videos! Would be interested in seeing a video on some of your art pieces that you create!
Thanks Brian, I'm planning a few craft and art videos. Hopefully in about a month I should have one for one of my simpler projects.
Lovely Tom
Thanks 🙂
You are truly a keeper of the waterways in England! I can't get enough of these wanderings with your music! Its my lullaby! Thank you!
goole up vintage iolers. i think you will find several
Thanks 🙂 I think you're right!
Love the music in your videos as well. Good job
Thanks Cynthia, I must record some more soon 🙂
I love how you take the garbage with that you find.
Thanks. Not all the garbage by any measure, just what I can manage. It's not much, but I'm happy to do what I can.
Thanks for taking me along ~ As usual, very enjoyable!
Thanks Linda, I'm glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
So happy to have caught numerous glimpses of your face and body. Have a picture now what you look like. Quite a nice reveal as it has driven me nuts thinking what you may look like. It's so helps to put a face to the voice and poetic persona.
What a beautiful day that was! Love the scenery
Thanks, I definitely got very lucky with the light that day🙂
Would be nice if you mention some of the titles of the music you use.
Afraid non of it has been given a title yet, they're just little pieces I've written and recorded specifically for use in my videos.
Interesting, yes try to clean the metals that way,
Thanks, I'm gathering the things to make that happen 🙂
Please Tom, can we switch to some new music from time to time. I binge watch all of your videos and the guitar strumming gets to be a bit much at times--I truly mean no offense because I love listening to your voice and watching all your footage.
Would like to seen stainless steel pot, missed blue plastic ball and pipe
I picked up the blue plastic ball on my way back, sadly the pipes were too big to carry on this trip; but I may get them next-time if I can find a parking spot closer so I don't have to carry them a mile out of there. Otherwise, the best I can probably do is move them inland a way. I'd like to take a raft down the river one day, doing a larger scale litter pick, but I think there's far too much for just me.😞
I think you're wrong about one thing, everyone wants to see your face. I'm very curious to see you.
