I wish they went with something other than the book. Something for my witchy house would have been nice.

Selenite and evil eyes🧿 has TWM stopped by my place and I don’t know about it?? Haha I love that there’s a big bag of Yerba Santa I’ve been really drawn to it lately and using it a lot - actually was in one of the selenite candles I made I do wish the oil was a spray instead but it’s crazy I’ve been working on making a banishing and protection spell since I had such a weird vision of someone paying an internet witch trying to test me or something it’s kinda crazy vision I had so now I’m putting trying to make my home into a crystal faraday cage lmaoooo 😂

It’s funny you say that though because I have a protection spell I’ve been working on that I want to do around my house this weekend. And make it a biweekly thing! If you see it and can prevent it 🧿 before it happens for real. Always trust your intuition. Love hanging out with you too chica! By the way those sand bags of gems video you did are amazing!! Im definitely going to try it out in the near future. 💜 😊

Never be sorry to be critical!! We won’t always like the items we receive, and that’s ok. 😊 I love hearing everyone’s point of view wether it agrees with mine or not. I’ve always preferred the truth over anything else. 💜
Going by comments here and elsewhere, as well as other videos, sounds like some feel overwhelmed by receiving books. That or the wow factor isn’t there because of an expectation for something other than a book for the big item. Although I like the title and it being a special WM hardcover, I hope this is the last book of the year. They do a good job varying the type of big item we get, so there is more to look forward to. When I see a book, I take it to mean that I should focus on the intellectual parts of my practice, learn or review information, expand my understanding of my place in the Wheel of the Year. The selenite evil eye amulet is really beautiful! As for the selenite pieces, I think I can use these in a home protection ritual, maybe anointing with the oil, incorporating the Yerba Santa either crushed or as smoke, before burying the pieces outside around the residence. I know selenite isn’t the most exotic or rare crystal, but it is appropriate for Mabon/Autumnal Equinox. We will cross another threshold of darkness and light shifting their strength and influence, so reconciliation of past wins and losses with hopes and fears moving forward is something I’d want to work on this month. The months ahead will be bustling. Even if I stick to a minimalist calendar, I sure will feel the chaos of other people’s holiday plans/concerns/drama. All I can do is strive to make my home environment a harmonious one. I hope everyone who got this box will find ways to tend to the peace and security of their homes, too.
Yeah, I get that some people even myself included was expecting something different. I myself don’t mind the book at all. I didn’t already own this book so it was a score for me and I do like the fact that the witches moon worked on the cover artwork. I’ll be honest, though I didn’t realize how old it was until other people said some thing, but even though I don’t mind, there’s nothing wrong with old knowledge. Oh, but I will admit, I was expecting some thing different from the whole cottage theme. Perhaps, after reading this book, I’ll make my own amulet of some sort to protect my home. I like your ideas about the selenite and burying them in your yard. I was going to make a seasonal offering dish with them and some of the flowers that I have planted in my yard. You’re absolutely right. The upcoming months will be very busy & unsure time of year and I like you am just focused on protecting my home & those in it. Thank you for your feedback. I love hearing everyone’s different points of view and new ideas to use the items we receive. 😊

I was a bit disappointed with this box. Not sure why it did not vibe with me. No wow factor. 🌙
I can’t afford to get this box due to crazy postal costs to U.K. & I’m usually quite gutted….but this one nope 👎 it feels a bit lazy. So many other items would be better suited to the witch’s cottage theme. Definitely not loads of selenite!

Hey Stacy! I decided to unbox mine along with you like we were doing it together. It was fun.
I had cancelled this box a couple of years ago and just re-subscribed last month. So this was my first box in 2 years. It was just ok for me.
I pretty much agree with everything @seekingvision said. Felt a bit lazy. And I'm not sure why they would include a book that was written in 1983 (or at least that was its first publication). I do like the feel of the book in my hands and the sort of vintage vibe of it.
But I'll hang with them for now and see how the next few months go. Fun unboxing with you this time!

I wasn’t expecting a book either. I thought maybe something for my altar space. Idk. I don’t hate the box, it is ok, just wasn’t my fave.

I still use a few Scott Cunningham books 📖 especially his herbal one but I’m shocked to see a book by him in this box…..there must be a modern hearth witch or cottage witch book surely 🤷🏻♀️ It is a nice touch having a hardback copy made exclusively for the box but the book is still way over 20 years old.
This is the first time I felt like this box was a bit lazy with the theme…..so much selenite!
Such a missed opportunity as there are so many great things I think they could have included for the Witch’s Cottage theme 🤔
Yeah I’m not sure why they picked such an old book. I’m not mad at it though. I don’t have this book so for me it’s not that bad. I like myself a classic. The items will definitely go to good use but I get it the box didn’t have any wow factor and that can be disappointing. I don’t mind selenite,I use it a lot in my workings but I get it. Hopefully next one will have that wow factor we’re all looking for 💜.
