I have the exact same type of connection when trying to remove my sprayer and just saw your video and it seems like your video is the only one that has the exact same kind of connection that I have on my Delta faucet. I'm replacing it with a pull-down type sprayer satin nickel but trying to remove the sprayer I could not figure out so I'm glad I came across your video.
I'm about to do my second one, they don't send a new clip with the hose, that's a problem because the old clip wouldn't hold for me when I turned the water on, the pressure blew the hose out, the old clip wouldn't hold. I had to use zip ties till I could get Delta to send a new clip..........
Delta has lifetime warranty on most of their products. If you have a couple of days, to wait. They will deliver directly to your door as long as you register and know when you bought the product.
Also even if you are not the original owner and you tell them that you moved in and it was like that, they will give you a one time courtesy replacement.
You didn't have to BUY it at all. Delta faucets are lifetime guaranteed. Call them with the model number etc and they send you one free. I'm just getting ready to install my SECOND free replacement. New connector is like this one first was the square white one.
Thank you very much for this tutorial.I just ordered my FREE sprayer hose from Delta.Easy peas!!!Never knew that there products are guaranteed for life!Thank u again 😀👍
My plumber just told me last week that I could get a new one free under a lifetime warranty with Delta too! I called their customer svc #, texted pics of the one I had, and needed no receipt or purchase date. Just got it in the mail today. 🙂
@@darlenesmith8311interesting will have to try this. Ours works but then the water just stops and causes the main faucet to also stop flowing so probably needing to replace this but if I can get a free one then I'm definitely sending the one back I got off Amazon
@@darlenesmith8311so I tried and it only applies to the original owner, so one would have to have registered it and know the date purchased. However if you tell them you are not the original owner and don't have the information, they will offer a one time courtesy to send a replacement.
@@JustinThibodeaux-v3n Interesting. I must've registered ours when we bought it but I know I didn't need a receipt with purchase date or anything. At least you were able to get a one as a courtesy, not being the original owner.
Thank you for your video, your delta spray hose is the only one on RUclips that is exactly as mine, but my leaking is from the top connecter( the thing with the tiny blue clip), the blue clip is broken, so you know where to buy that?
What is the name of the connector? I'm trying to figure out if i can just cut the end of the hose and reattach it on the nozzle end. There's a small crack in the hose and i dont want to replace the entire thing.
IDK the type of fitting. The end is crimped on, you may a new one put on, you would have to take it to someone that builds or repairs hydraulic hoses. Just buy a new Delta part, the new hose is more flexible and will last a longer. IMHO
Thank you for posting this video. I'm currently having a leak right at the connector with the blue tabs. If the sprayer hose is leaking at that spot, do I have to replace the entire hose or is there something else that could be done first to seal the connection better?
@@breakerbroke23 thank you for the reply. I did remove the hose and checked it and the plastic intake that it snaps into and found nothing. I then reinstalled and noticed the leak comes from the hose connector itself where the flexible hose meets the pressure valve. I'm assuming this means I need to replace the whole hose assembly, yes?
Great video! Thanks! I must have pulled my hose too hard as it popped out under the sink. The black (diverter?) appears to have broken in half with most of it still inside that gray piece where hooks in with the blue clip. I was able to remove the rest of the diverter that was still stuck inside the gray part… do we know what that gray piece hooked to the plumbing is called?
@@jessicab5359 I had the same problem, just got the broken piece out. I used an "easy out", a tapered drill bit that is designed to get broken bolts out of machinery. I twisted it in slightly to "set" it and pulled the broken part right out.
Do you have the part number or the model number for your faucet? I've contacted Delta and they are unable to help me without this info which I do not have. Thx

Awesome! Thank you so much. Will be doing this myself now that I've got you as a guide. 😉
So I just attempted this and I thought I would let people know that the little blue clip can snap in half. Be careful.😢 The video was great though!
Great tip! Yes folks, be careful with that clip.
I just snap mine. :P
Ordering a new one now. Lol

You sir are my hero. I spent a good hour under the sink or googling how to get the hose off.
Thanks so much! Much easier to figure out this uncommon hardware with your help.
What is the “gray” piece called? Mine is leaking from the top.
I need to know this too! Can't find it anywhere
I've seen a ton of DIY videos. Yours is unusually clear and helpful. Thank you!
You are welcome and thank you for those kind words. Cheers
That was masterful! Thank you!
these *how to* videos are very helpful
Thank you.
In what moment u replace the hose?? 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
My connector is broken the two blue clips is their a replacement part

I don't want to install the sink sprayer. Could that be done?
Mine wont fit up in there like yours did
I want to eliminate the sprayer. How do I do that?

IDK, maybe call Delta customer service or take pictures and go to your local plumbers supply. Home Depot/Lowes will be no good. Cheers

Can I eliminate the sprayer and use the hole for a glass cleaner with out having to cap off the connection?

You could take the hose off and check for hard water deposits / clean and reinstall. But yes you will need to buy the whole hose assy.
