The Chiefs has the number 2 Offensive Line in football so the Eagles pass rush will be stopped all they have to do is put another tight end out there to block and the Eagles pass rush is done it will not exist. Overrated. When they were down 20+ a few years ago in the championship game, he looked finished. Mahomes rallied the team on the sidelines. He resurrected Reid's reputation.
As an Eagles fan who lived through Reid's tenure in Philly, he was always slightly overrated. When it came to the big game he mostly came up short. With the Eagles he played in 4 straight NFC championship games and made one Superbowl. Even in that Superbowl that they lost, his clock management and play calling was terrible. He's a great regular season coach, usually gets that 1 seed and buy, get a home playoff game every year then craps the bed most of the time.

Nick. Buddy. Just listen to those words. I'm aware that scrambling and extending plays makes it so much tougher on secondaries, and I'll grant you that. But don't act like this defense isn't the best defense in the NFL from 1-11, and we're chomping at the bit to take on this KC offense.

Brandon Graham is right. You CAN'T play scared and expect to win the game. That said, if the Eagles aren't disciplined on their pass rush Mahomes WILL escape the pocket and make them pay for it. The Defensive ends can NOT rush deeper than his drop or there will be a wide open gap between them and the inside pass rushers. Mahomes will exploit that EVERY time it happens unless the ball is already gone, or the inside rush gets home. The strength of the Chiefs offensive line is the interior, so they can't bank on getting consistent pressure in the middle. If Andy Reid is smart, he's RUN the ball because as great as the Eagles are against the pass, they can be had in the run game.

This is one of those things you have to read between the lines of what Graham is actually saying. Basically saying if Mahomes gets his he is still going to be “paid” for it. Is he saying they are willing to give up the big plays as long as they pop Mahomes and beat him up to the point where he probably has to leave the game? They knocked Purdy out of the game & San Fran basically had no chance. I hope that isn’t the case but it can be interpreted that way.
