i have worked in health care for 35 years in various administrative positions as well as a Medical Record Director and Quality Assurance Consultant. I would absolutely understand and contribute to the HEDIS conversation. Why then, should I be a nurse when I do more than any other nurse in the facility? I write nursing policy, survey correction plans, as well as new protocols and standards of practices. I want to be a part of a HEDIS team. Is this something that I need more education?

I am just a medical assistant and surgery tech.. I applied to medical assistant jobs during my recent move and someone from a huge company contacted me asking me if I was interested in a HEDIS position... they are looking for MA's to fulfill the positions apparently

Yes I did receive certificate of completion I just need to prepare myself for the cpc exam which I had some major financial setbacks
