Just ask your advisor to open up their portfolio, and you will know. This video is made as a joke, but the advisors are being misrepresented, there are some really good ones that you probably just didn't encounter. But ultimately, you make your choice, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I’ve never used a financial advisor and have been more successful than using one. Why pay someone when you can do it yourself and have more gains? Most insurance products can’t beat the market in the long run.
