I love the way Chris looked at Amy after she sat everyone at the table, it was almost as if he had never been treated so thoughtfully, you can tell he’s in love....
Amy is so warm and welcoming. What a great cook!! Think of all the parties she's put together over the years. I still think Matt is a major dynamo and love his energy. He's a GREAT man, not perfect, but then who is.

It takes work but it's about thinking beyond ourselves sometimes. I dated a man who very friends with his ex because they had children together and we all decided to blend birthdays together cuz it was just less traumatising for the small children and less confusing. You could definitely tell there was tension but everybody was very cordial and the parties always ended up being a lot of fun for the children. I actually admired my boyfriend's ex-wife for just the fact that she could look past all the crap she had with him and concentrate on what was going on at the present which was dealing with a six-year-old who still didn't comprehend why daddy wasn't living with them anymore. I don't understand why so many people are hating on Amy. I guess everyone forgot about all the years that Amy had to work her butt off plus take care of the kids and house while Matt pretty much did what he wanted and was always coming up with some grand idea that he rarely consulted Amy about. I understand how that feels, and how different it is to be with someone who really appreciates you. I don't care what the storybooks and fairytales say, love alone is NOT enough to maintain a loving relationship when you have a partner that doesn't communicate with you or respect your feelings and contributions.

I just happened upon this post. I read many of the comments posted here. I found many to be very judgmental and angry toward Amy. It takes two people to make a marriage work and both need to be interested in making it work. Matt was not very appreciative or nice to Amy for a very long time. I am sure it had to be even worse in their private lives. I find Matt and Amy to both be much happier in their current relationships with Karyn and Chris. They both are more laid back and enjoying their newer relationships. I find Chris and Amy complement each other so well. Karyn and Matt seem to relate on a good level in the things they do and plan together. They seem to enjoy each others company far better than their previous relationships. I am glad to see they are finding happiness after a divorce. Congratulations to Chris and Amy on their engagement! They look so happy together in everything they do! I do not understand what is taking Matt so long to ask Karyn to marry him because he talks about that as their plan. Matt will likely propose to Karyn sometime in the near future! I know she will say yes and go get married in Vegas as she has talked about doing! Ha ha I wish them all the very best and every happiness in their futures! Take care and keep well all!

Mat was out side of the marriage long before the divorce and has been trying to push Amy of the farm from the beginning. He blames her at every chance when it was him that checked out around the time of dwi was the first time I noticed.
I also remember seeing Amy unhappy a lot in her relationship with Matt so I was really surprised when I found out how very unhappy she was about the divorce. Look how happy she is now and it's nice to see.as I continue to watch I think more of Matt's true personality comes out and he really snakes in slams on putting a me down a lot

Amy housed the baby's in her whomb, fed them, raised them.. she's the nurturer.. she's the cook who would utilize the house more. If either of them get to live there it should be Amy. Christine G. How do you know that she put in most of the work? For what I have seen through the show, Matt has always been the one running the farm and still is running the farm now. All we see Amy doing is eating out with her friends and boy friend. Even if she did all the work, it doesn’t give her any reason to get mad at Matt for dating Karen.

I don't know why but I am like 100% convinced that Amy and Chris are not going to last long. She just seems like a very very difficult person to be married to and Chris is like super go with the flow right now, but eventually that shit gets on your nerves and once he starts pushing back they are gonna break up. I only watched one episode when he moved in with her and then went to tell Matt they were going to have their wedding at his farm and I could tell like right away that ain't gonna last.
