Problem With Being Direct - Also, Teach Your Kids Respect

My son has always been told to stand up for yourself if needed. Don't start anything, but don't back down if needed. Other parents need to teach their kids basic respect in this world. I've always told my son to not start anything, but if someone messes with you and won't leave you alone, to handle it and finish it and I'll have his back all day long. Crap like this is why I hate other peoples kids.
