250 per week.... in Australia they're trying to rent shared bedrooms for $370. Or even single rooms for $600. You can get your own individual unit for $300 to $450 if you search enough.

@@jermainewilliams4675 Well, we're talking about Canada at the moment. A few bipartisan solutions to Vancouver's housing crisis include changing zoning regulations, eliminating short term rentals, increasing incentives for developers, and establishing housing co-ops. As an American, I just moved from a major city to the boonies after finding remote work. The people around me make good money working at the oil refinery outside of town. There isn't a one size fits all solution, but I agree that we definitely need bipartisan solutions.

@ezrazentor7725 well then rent to own. Or get an rv and pay the same as an apartment for a few years until it's cheaper and then buy land. Take a loan. You can do it. You don't have to rent for 40 years until you get a good job. Also keep buying land and give it to your kids when you are gone. People are just doing stuff wrong.

The Bert and Ernie special.

My initial thoughts are that FB Mkt is where you go to find over priced scrap wood, not lease agreements.
It’s actually very common that people find their rentals from FB :)

Australia is a large place... In America you can find apartments from $400/month to $200,000/month
Is 1000 a month considered high or low there?
You get what you vote for
You mean what China voted for?
Right. Because people in Vancouver totally voted for a limited land supply, high desirability, foreign investors, and housing as a commodity.
@@duffygrahamyou vote for unchecked immigration, chinese land grabs, libtards who cant budget, etc
