  • For over 40 years, computing has been a two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional world. Tech giants and startups are now looking into the growth opportunities of spatial computing through augmented reality and virtual reality, where information is organized and interacted with in space rather than on a flat screen. In this video from the BRITE ’19 Conference, Ori Inbar, Founder and Managing Partner of Super Ventures, speaks about how spatial computing will impact our lives and businesses.
The BRITE conference on brands, innovation and technology is presented yearly by the Center on Global Brand Leadership at Columbia Business School.

It's like taking the whole television, work and cellphone experience and unifying it into a single VR experience. Whoever owns that tech will basically own every shred of data. Privacy concerns. Rightly said. Social outcomes will be profound and we might become more and more digitally bound. That can be a dangerous precedent and ways to prevent such scenarios should be well formed. The pandemic has already pushed us mentally towards a digital bound.
