    Super good idea change the lower timming case for upgrade the transmision chain,my engine was of 1993 and try your sistem.
    I'm allucinate with the price of guide rail,the old guide rail 53$
    and the new rail of... plastic...
    200$ wtf!!!
    And other thing,the oil control valve... other change shit of Bmw,the old control valve was hard of metal,and new valve is plastic!!!! Omg when broke this valve and all plasti-crisps travelling in the oil conductors,this valve its after oil filter pan and oil filter yes?
    When broke this fucking valve,directly the plasti-crisps traveling inside de engine,fix bro.
    The six speed that's awesome,with turbo believe that can run 280-300km/h? Brutal
    Where find the gear-box?
    What a car try this gear-box that perfect adapt in our m42 engine?
    Expecting,very good process,but I opine that ultimately your vids are very shorts hehe good ruffle :)
    I need more details hehe
    Edited bro sorry...
    Clear,a bit question

    Nice work, one question please. I have problems finding the guide rails at a decent price for this engine. OEM ones are unjustified expensive What did you used? Do you know any aftermarket ones at a decent price?

    • @skudak
      @skudak  4 года назад +1

      No I also couldn't find cheap ones. I think one side is interchangeable with the m44 but not the other side, so that might be easy to find cheaper. I got lucky and found some used that were bought new and only had 1,000 miles on them so that's what I used.

    Hi, thx for video!) can you write part number of zhp transmission?

    A bit of a stretch if you reply but do you still happen to have a list of fittings and hoses you used for the oils feed and how did you do a oil return I’m currently trying to turbo my m42 as well

    • @skudak
      @skudak  2 года назад

      I think I used all 6an stuff for the feed and pulled oil from the back of the head which I think was a M12 threaded port. The return was a 10 or 12an that went to a welded bung in the oil pan

    Use oil filter housing as oil feed for turbo!

    • @skudak
      @skudak  4 года назад +1

      That's plan B! I want to use an m44 oil filter housing but the one i was getting fell through so I'm using the m42 one temporarily. Once i get the m44 housing I'll see about using that

    • @KAMILcom
      @KAMILcom 4 года назад

      @@skudak waht's the diffrence with housing? I'll just notice that m44 one got shitty plastic filter cover...

    What wheel hp are you shooting for?

    • @skudak
      @skudak  4 года назад +1

      Honestly I have no power goal lol. Maybe like 225-250. I'm more concerned with it being reliable. The guy who sold me everything including the ecu, turbo, etc... was pushing 350hp on 25lbs of boost. So I know it's capable of 350 but since it's not a track car, and I don't want to be fixing it constantly, I'm gonna see what ~15lbs of boost gives me and go from there.
