Agree! soul is light, always has been always will be, we let go of the shadow we created by our fearful ego, programmed to generations of fear, uncertainty, judgemental conditioning. You have to be both, but its the death of your shadow. Its finding balance within the heart and mind, dualities of light and dark, stillness and movement.

I'd even consider calling it a rewholeness of the ego. And the ego itself is working with us to die to be the size and place it's supposed to have in our lives. Like be 5% of who we are and signal us for danger. But that's all. The ego was created in us deliberately and is in us but needs to be relegated to its true place. Not take over and overplaying its hand in our lives as it had grown to do so resulting in disconnection from wholeness and living in fight or flight.
I like to transform my ego and bring its energy back into my self. Its spent so much time trying to protect me it deserves to come along with my ascension. In this way the dark night transforms into the bright day of the ego.
