      Hi, thank you for your question. Every program will have its own expectations and cut-offs. Contact your programs of choice to ask what the average CAPE grades are expected, if this information is not available anywhere else on the programs' websites or in MSAR.

      @BeMoAcademicConsulting  3 года назад

      Hi, thank you for your question. Your choice in medical school will depend on a lot of factors, including whether it's the right fit for you and whether the school can help you fulfill your goals as a medical professional. Research Bridgetown and see what its mission is, what kind of admission requirements they have, whether there are any elective or research opportunities that might interest you, etc. Make the decision based on what is right for you.

    “Cheaper”-- hell nah they way more expensive

    • @BeMoAcademicConsulting
      @BeMoAcademicConsulting  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your comment. The tuition at Caribbean schools tends to be cheaper than tuition in the contiguous US. However, why do you suppose they are more expensive?

    • @frrshminh3371
      @frrshminh3371 3 года назад

      @@BeMoAcademicConsulting 99% are for profit institution so ofc they gonna cost more. While about 2 % in the u.s are for profit.

    • @BeMoAcademicConsulting
      @BeMoAcademicConsulting  3 года назад

      @@frrshminh3371 You are correct that Caribbean med schools are private for profit institutions. If you compare the tuition costs of private medical schools in the US vs tuition costs of Caribbean private med schools, Caribbean schools do have cheaper tuition. However, tuition in public US schools for in-state students is usually the cheapest option.

      @@BeMoAcademicConsulting I presume it's a lack of financial discipline. While the actual cost of attendance is lower, the school's cost of attendance allowance is inflated, allowing students to take out far more than necessary. I'm guessing students are taking out the max rather than maintaining restrictive budgets.

      @@dzikijohnny Thanks for your comment! You can certainly attend a Caribbean school and do some electives in the US to increase your chances of matching a residency there, if that's what you want. Go to a school you want to attend and work hard. Med school is not going to be easy anywhere =)
