Can you still call it a sketchbook tour if there’s no book?

That's how my art always was, loose papers for many decades, I just bought my first sketchbook this year, I was curious why everyone wants to work in one.
The only thing I found is they are smaller and you save the cost of matting and framing the art, unless you destroy the sketchbook 😂
I actually quite like some of these, they're interesting.
