I have lived in Seattle for almost 7/8 years now and I still have not been to half of these places in her vlogs, even though I recognize them lol. It's always a good Inspo to be reminded of what's around you. These vlogs are such a good example of how to slow down in the city, especially Seattle. I hope I run into her one of these days

the way you were talking about the upcoming half marathon and your feelings about getting back into running warmed my heart and made me remember why I started running almost 10 years ago and why I don't ever want to quit because to me it's one of the best exercises where anxiety leaves my mind once the music starts playing. thank you Alia for such wholesome and motivating videos 💟
The way you feel about running - I feel the same about climbing :D It feels so good to be driven in physical movement that makes you focus on your performance and technique and you have such clear signs of being better with every training! :3

i love the run chats!! ive started running for the same exact reason--for the past 2 years ive been dealing with some health conditions where at my worst i couldnt even walk around my own house. so running to me is also super important and makes me feel so grateful for what my body can do! so excited to see ur progress with the half marathon :) im running a 5k in feb but want to do a half at some point too!
Excercise is amazeballs. It bleeds into all other aspects of your life in the most positive way. Being healthy feels amazeballs !!
i agree. the idea of it is lazy and upsetting.. but once you get started its fun and entertaining. I think it just the idea of completing something that has so many benefits.

The running talk actually got to me! I used to run regularly for a couple of years, even did races here and there. Then I injured my heel four years ago and never managed to get back into a routine after that. I feel like I put way too much emotional pressure on running now, because I remember how good it felt (and it obviously doesn't feel the same right away, especially now after four years without proper training). I hope I'll get back to it some day. Good luck for your half marathon!

Im curious about the part where you filmed mid run (or post run). Do you carry your vlog camera while you run?? I want to vlog outside but my camera gets in the way of everything so I end up only using it at home and using my phone for outside travels
