The worst initial stock grind known to man is the Churchill NA75... Just getting to the APCBC drove me insane. I think after 6 matches I still didn't have parts😂🙃

JPz 4-5 is also quite terrible - it has stock HESH, a round that was gutted by gaijin years ago and is so inconsistent with the damage APCR would be more usable
No, the JPz 4-5 is one of the best tank at 6.3 , even after having unlocked the HEAT-FS, i still play it with the HESH, if you now how to aim you Can easily one/two shot everyone

This was one of the easier German higher BR tanks to spade, than any other. Easier were only gepard/leo and rakjagdpanzer with 2 manually guided missiles.
Here is a little tip - you don't need to manually buy any parts, only assign research and finish it, all researched parts will be bought automatically when you exit modifications window (with the exception of very last module that you research at the vehicle).
Better just buy them manually so you don't waste SL on useless modifications that only makes your reapair cost higher...

7.3? How about stock grind of a maus instead? That were the real pain is. M-48 is nowhere near that bad in stock.

Researching APHE first would have been the best decision. Instead of unreliable HESH and Heat.
I agree that's one of the shittiest tank stock in game, it was a pain to grind but once you're done it's not THAT bad, just go for HEAT best shell here
APCR needs to be removed from a stock grind, and some vehicles have to research 2 different apcr shells b4 they can get to anything good.

Trust me, the German M48A2's stock grind is better than the US tech tree version as, espetially back in the day when Gaijin and their infinite wisdom put it at 6.7. Basically, you had the armor of a heavy tank, and the gun and mobility of a medium tank. I have it, and when it was at 6.7, I got 10-15 kill games with it frequently. At stock, the HVAP sucks, but your armor did help back then. Now at 7.3, your armor is meh, and if your stuck with HVAP, RIP. Still, I would say the US version is worse because the US 7.3 lineup is just weaker.
Most of my kills were with M82 though btw, literally a nuke round. If it pens, the target is dead.
I like the tank with all upgrades.. but getting there is hard, yes 😅
This isn't the worst try grinding this tank in Israel tech tree, you only get Heat FS ammo on the bottom of upgrades 😂😂😂 and do it again for 4 more times down the line.

I recently got this thing. I played Arcade until I got APHE, with that it worked quite well
as you bought this my brain instinctively went "You have made a horrible mistake"
i'd recommend not playing over 8.0 if you want to have fun
you can go way higher then that and still have fun
@@operationsteel2412 how so ?, the armor dont do shit cuz everyone got 1 shot apfsds or heat or something else , repair costs too high, you get sniped from so far away that the enemy is smaller than 1 pixel if you see him , there are more but i'd rather not say and a personal reason is that theres no aphe after that-
yea sure M82 shot isnt the best APHE at this br but come on, dont skip on it and go for HESH lmao. 185mm is honestly all you'll really need for sideshots and if you know how to aim it aint that bad of an overall main round. I use mostly M82 shot with the secondary being HEATFS for things like IS-4M or IS-3's stuff like that.
Why you skip the M82 shot? It's there to ease your pain through grinding this tank. I do occasionally go back to this BR with M46 M47 and M48 lineups just to enjoy this round.

First mistake was not unlocking M82 before Hesh. M82 is a god round, if it pens, its a one shot kill.

Controversial comment here - I hit the nuke round before I even hit FPE and it made this tank considerably more fun to farm.
These German M48s were made in hell. I have no idea why those things are at such a high BR, they won't survive anything, ammo is horrible, mobility isn't amazing also... these tanks, even fully researched shouldn't be played imo, waste of time.
M48A2 C is a godsend in this BR, spading wasn't so bad for me

My friend let me introduce you to the M47, which has a completely more hoorendous stock grind because it starts off with a stock shell that can only penetrate light tanks and the turret face of a Leo 1
I have to disagree with you bc yes at the start the M47 is bad but once you finish the grind this tank is incredible. It as good mobility, a good gun and somewhat of a good armor. This tank does the job of a medium tank perfectly good

Nah dude the German m48 is beast and the apcr got bluffed a lot and feels like apds and the thing that make it bad is just the unsure armor sometimes work sometime doesn't
APCR litterally has like 5mm of pen if they are slightly angled though
idk but I like to play with this tank. still using same ammo and this tank really teach you where is ammo on enemy lol. if you know all tanks ammo stock side that's kind a ez kill otherwise wish luck lol
It does not qualify as worst stock tank.
The real worst stock tank is chinese PT-76. You start with apcr, your armor can't save you even from HMG, no stab, no nothing. The aphe you get would suck at 3.7-4.0, let alone 5.0. The only decent round is HEAT-FS, which is still only 200mm of pen.
Bro avoided the APCBC probably cuz is one of those point and click warriors that's afraid of aiming at weakspots ngl, that round is goated
I dont get why people have problems playing with this tank. I play the US M48 which is arguably worse and I love it. Its got a range finder, decent mobility, decent pen, decent armour and it can tank a few shots. It's just a solid performer, nothing special but no reason for anyone to do badly. APCR wasnt too bad either, just pick your fights and your targets accordingly.

ammo is stored in rear of strv and should have been an easy kill through ammo detonation
if the launcher would turn orange/red by getting shot with the mg is another question tho
