Great map!
With regards to the creature, since it's so big and mostly underground, have you considered making this a hazard instead? In that case, I would make it a WIS save not to drink from the water. If they fail, they go into the pool. Maybe they like the feel of the water? Maybe it has cooling properties? If they resist that, when they walk away, a tentacle could appear and attack them, to drag them into the water. Once so much damage is done to a tentacle, it has been cut. Unless it's starving, and it can go long periods digesting something, it doesn't send out more than two tentacles. It can regrow lost tentacles over a month.
It could be that bits of this can be used to make a frost resistance potion? Maybe even frost immunity, but then fire vulnerability, potion?
Just some thoughts I had.
Thanks!
All great thoughts! I agree you could definitely use this in loads of ways!
On the note of Alchemical ingredients! Yes the saliva should be the base for a potion of resist heat/cold!
Drinky Sinky!
I had very little time to come up with a name. Drinky sinky is the type of name my group would come up with. ;-)
Hello! Your maps are amazing! How did you enable this function to change the height of objects? Here this arrow is not appearing and I can't change the height of objects freely like in your videos. Thanks.
Are you on the newest version of DA - also have you selected the object tab (treasure chest) on the left? That should make the button appear? Let me know if that works.
Oh - just in case did you set Collisions to off (you can see it at the top right of the object bar)
Of coure it is a mimic.
It certainly uses camouflage :-)
A steak as the fleshy innards.... ew....
Steak is the best veiny thing I could find to imitate flesh ;-)
