    I also broke mine in almost the exact same way, except in my care it broke the pegs off the elbow joint. It still has a friction fit and still works, but now I am wondering if there is a way to get replacement antenna's.

    What should I do if one of the wires gets broken? Mine fell as well.

    This video was pretty cool, it's a shame for how expensive the axe11000 or axe16000 the antennae are non removable.
    Excellent for in-home streaming especially with 10G NICs.
    I have the AXE16000 and I upgraded from a single ac86u.

    Wonder what range and actual benefits this router has over cheap asus routers. Not very advanced looking insides. 2 antennas for 2.4ghz, 2 antennas for 5ghz, and 4 antennas for 6ghz. And try to find 6ghz devices other than expensive phone or a rog motherboard.

    This video is exactly what I was looking for. I'm in the same boat with 3 bad antennas that I need to replace.

      @@ntibrandon5127 That's sad news. Maybe you need to wait until there's a seller that sells it. Or you may take the option to RMA as you stated before.

    My kid broke my antenna too! No replacements available... I filed an RMA with ASUS and in 5 weeks they sent me an entirely new router.

      Just got 2 of them and they are worth it especially if your isp offers over gig speeds. Install the Merlin Firmware on it and off you go!

    I’m sick of ASUS routers. There was no firmware update to it whatsoever. Never again. It was the DIR-890L.

      Bro…you need to see if your ASUS router supports Merlin Firmware. To me it is much better than the stock firmware.

    That's the deal breaker to me. 100% do not like this kind of wireless router design

  • @chopshop523
    @chopshop523 Год назад +5

    The design is practical. It’s a heavy unit as well. You just made a mistake and almost paid dearly. Your fault not the designs fault. It’s more than capable of being stabilized
