Any product that makes steam is visible. Just like with a steam iron.

Why does the cup only do 6.6oz when the instructions say 10oz of water can be put into the steamer? And no, you don't want to fill it with water from the sink faucet because you should only use distilled water, just like with an iron. And you did not secure the top properly, it will spin freely unless you push down while turning. But if you want to steam cloths, then hang them while steaming, don't lay them flat and set the steamer on the floor. It's not an iron, steaming while the cloths are laying flat isn't the way to steam cloths with a steamer.
