Favorite romance in Veilguard, and one of the fav romances in all of Dragon Age. He's the standout companion, imo. Makes sense, as he's written by a returning writer from previous games.
ok but pause, how freaking TALL did you make your rook????? Emmrich is canonically the second tallest in the group, behind TAASH.... HOW BIG, IS YOUR BOY?????
Emmerich is so nice and caring! He knows just what spirits need. Take Manfred for example. A curiosity spirit with the mind of a 1-year-old. You know what curiosity spirits are most curious about? Child labor! He'll be his child-servent. Sorry, man-servent. It's not bad, he's like a son to him! He'll get 2 bucks a month to teach him responsibility while his dad orders him around! Then Emmerich gets to "respect" Manfred's sacrifice and get the immortality he wants while never bringing Manfred up again! At least now Manfred can rest. Unlike those poor cooks that are forced to work even after death so Emmerich can impress his date.
@happyweekend2343 Eh... Idk. In most of our cultures, yes, it is disrespectful, and it's definitely not something I would do, but Nevarrans have a very particular relationship to their dead.
funny how his face changes everytime rook flirts , like he cant believe that anyone would flirt with him ... old man got more rizz than he thinks ^^
I really love the Mourn Watch specific dialogue with Emmrich. It really pops out and Nick Boraine did a fantastic job voicing him.
Best romance for the best character in Veilguard.
And among the top ones in DA titles.
@@nia427147 oh absolutely!

I always love how he shifts course when rook is like "'cause it's working."
I did his romance and I love all his scenes. This man knows exactly how to steal your heart
I haven't had the pleasure of playing the game yet, but I am already in love with Emmrich. Ugh!
Bone Daddy
I love him so much omg
This was a great romance imo. Felt quite unique and fun to me, especially on Lich path.
My poor heart could never sacrifice Manfred 🥺
my love. one of my favorite characters and romance in the whole series
This is easily the best romance in the game, no contest
Romanced Emmy on my first playthrough. Not sure how I'm going to romance anyone different going forward *sigh*
Literally the only person I'll romance in Veilguard.
Same. I've tried two others after my first time with Emmrich but always come back to him.
Those cowards made him wake up in a modern underwear after a lover's night. Boo.
Emmerich gets more action than Lucanis lol. I'm def going to romance him next.

Best romance in the game. I saved Manfred.
amazing character and amazing romance 💗💗 ((and esp with fem rook cuz her voice actress does makers work))
I need my necro daddy.
Dragon Age: the reason we ship stylish necromancers since 2014 and up to this day.
Is it me or does this sound like a lighter version of Astarion from that Baldur's Gate game?

You good, homie?
Creepy they are... romancing in a coffin, really disrespectful to the dead.
Well it's not an occupied coffin
@@nineblackgoats Its still disrespectful, you don't see a grown adult human doing that. Especially when he works with the dead.

@@nineblackgoats I'd call it more of a sarcophagus, really.
@@happyweekend2343 I dunno, knowing Emmrich, it might legit be his bed. Man kins Vincent Price and Gomez Addams
