It would be so cool to see the full companion quest lines with the romance, it's just a bit jarring to only see the romance scenes without context. i do appreciate these vids though, thanks for your hard work!
the " romance only scenes " kind of do disservice to the characters, they generally are part of a longer discussion the game spreads out in a few scenes ... but i get it would be a lot to edit and post haha, thank you for making these vids ! i love taash, i wish we got more lords of fortune content ...
I appreciated it lol The other characters romances are so slow you'd think it is the 1950s and nothing remotely spicy happens until late 2 or Act 3 for most of them

Nothing was established between them at that point except for the same things that were established up to this point with taash that the player character expressed interest in them, taash just asked straight up if it was genuine or not then it continued in a similar manner as it did with bull.
I'm trying to figure out who wrote most of it as its cring at best and just plain horrible at worst. I still recall a party banter between taash and davrin about how assan shit smells off and he needs more fiber.
Taash was the third most romanced character, apparently. I don't think they're nearly as awful as some people want you to believe, and a lot of others seem to agree. I think this game has several well written characters, myself.
They're not that bad, the thing is is that some of their scenes are some of the WORST written scenes in the game, the "so im non binary" scene, the "pulling a barv" scene, the Emmerich scene, those scenes were not doing them any favors in the likeable department
Taash could be great, if it wasn't for writing. I liked them to my own shock because of all companions they at least do have personality, being rude and immature, having a relatable parents-children conflict (hated how quickly it handled, and how they killed off the mother). Others are just Teddy bears, sweet and gentle.
Is Taash an adult? I can't help but think of them as a 16 year old based on how they act and talk. They feel so immature that romancing them seems wrong somehow. *Edited for gender and tense.
And yes they are immature and brash. BUT THATS A PART OF THEIR CHARACTER. they grow and evolve just like everyone else in the series. This is how I can tell none of you actually played the game apart from watching RUclips clips LMAO
@@lorrithelinguist It undermines your argument when you say that to somebody who has 158 hours and all 52 achievements in the game. As you said, it's part of their character to be immature and brash, aka like a teenager. Just because they're uncomfortable they lash out at Emmerich and Neve with insults. Luckily both are patient and mature enough to realize that Taash is acting out like a child. Maybe it's fine if you're barely out of teenage years, but I'm too old to think of Taash as anything other than jailbat.
I love Taash as a character! Their arch is so close to home for me, but romance with them is soooo boring imo. Wasted potential considering what we've had in Inquisition and Iron Bull romance.
I for one enjoyed their romance and didn't find it boring. It seems to have the best pacing, compared to the other characters I've tried so far which is Neve, Lucanis, & Bellara. Haven't finished Neve's yet though. Personally, I wasn't a fan of IB romance since that isn't my thing.

Wasn’t really into Tash thought they were cute, didn’t realise they were wild too that wall push dang
Where do you get the outfit on 1:37 ?
From the lords of fortune vendor in the hall of valor. It's only available if you have the lords of fortune background. It's the faction exclusive.
@@krasmasov6852oh that explains why I haven’t seen it then lol

1:52 what outfit is that?
Man I tried to get through this to see why people are so mad but I got all I need to know by 2:18, who writes something like that?
They did the same thing with iron bull in inquisition. I don’t get what makes this bad.
@@deleted3869 I think the difference is Iron Bull acted mature about it and those scenes came in after the relationship was established already.

Okay, I know this is a minority opinion. But I actually like Taash. Are they poorly written? Sure! But who isn’t in this game?!

She isn't a poorly written character. Just has some cringey dialogue at times because the dialogue feels very modern.

No one is poorly written in this game including Taash.
