There is a Saying in Hong Kong ~ "小病是福"... which means "A Mild Illness is a Blessing" (軽い病気は幸). So it might seem unfortunate that you were sick for a few days. But this actually gave you a chance to rest in order to prepare yourself for the work ahead in the new year. So it might not be a bad thing after all. 😊 I saw on the news about a 94 year old lady in Suzu City was rescued 124 hours after the earthquake struck. IT REALLY WAS A MIRACLE! So despite all the bad things that have been happening... There is still Hope... and Hope is what keeps us going... 頑張れ弥里ちゃん! 😀

I was sick and bedridden for New Years too, Misa. Sore throat, a high fever, coughing, sneezing, headache, It was awful. You seem to have come out of your cold better than I. I had homemade chicken noodle soup my landlady made for me. It sure helped. Get well, Misa and I'll do the same.
