The American verision of Samara is actually pretty powerful compared to the other version as she can’t be touched physically due to being a spirt and then she has a lot of hacks and abilities that negate durability. The japense film canon however, samara can actually be touched and harmed however her strikes easily break necks although you can technically hurt her that doesn’t mean she will die.
