What I love about Ashley and Ben is their interaction with the locals and for me the education of the islands. My wife and I just got from Fiji and I just love the people and the simplicity of how they live. Thank you both!❤
While it’s great for your kids to have these experiences…it’s monumental that these experiences have been filmed. They’ll be able to recall life with their parents and to share their childhood with (their) families. 👍😎
Such a wonderful and refreshingly genuine family of modern day adventurers/Story Tellers. Ive loved watching your travels for 4 years now. Watching your family grow and giving your kids the very best of upbringings. Amazing. Thankyou Ben and Ash..
I don’t usually write on the internet but I felt a lot of deep feeling in this episode. Yes money can make you happy in some ways but it is not the fruit of all our happiness. There are so many more things that make me happy. A bowl of blueberries, fresh natural makes my day. I like to be quiet and just enjoy them in my time thinking about the day and how I am blessed to be alive and free another day. We definitely take freedom for granted here. With all the waring countries and factions I would be terrified to just walk free in another country. But after watching this video, you really don’t need money for happiness. Just some chocolate cake and living off the land. What an eye opener. I love the horse ride. Little things like that and hopefully the kids will remember their first horse ride was in french polynesia. WOW very few people get to experience that. Got bless them..God bless the who island and its inhabitants! ❤❤❤❤
I don't think a shredded sail is ever in the plan, but things happen sometimes, and it's all about how you handle the situation, Ash and Ben, nice cool heads in that situation 👍
The people of the world could take lessons from the generous and wonderful people on these isolated islands. That's what human connections should be like.
You have two beautiful children but they are so blessed to have the mom and dad they do childhood this is how I think kids are supposed to learn not in Foursquare walls this is so neat and there's so much respect for you learning the native language and not using someone else to communicate or going through a tourist but really doing your own thing
That farmer was so casual and comfortable with you, it seemed like he was just enjoying visiting with neighbors. Bad luck losing the sail. That so sucks!
Seeing Miss Willa’s absolute glee when she got on that perfectly-sized horse gave me happy chills!!! Thank you for showing us the Marquesas again!!!! (and Ashley I KNEW EXACTLY how you felt with your wet clothes and sideways cupcakes.. it’s hard to talk when you have to struggle to get past it…grrrr 😎). That lovely man enjoyed the heck out of the cupcakes anyways - they still tasted the same!! (well except for the bits of sand, but I’m guessing that has never stopped a Marquesan from enjoying his chocolate!). You guys are the best!! Sorry about that sail!! And the nice fish Ben - your fillet skills look great to me! ☺️ And those fruits!!Looking forward to the next adventure!! (Can you tell I loved the whole video!)
Folks, y'all are amazing. A fellow Canadian wishing you the absolute best whilst out on the water. I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing a little bit of life off the prairies.
I hadn't seen a video by you guys in a while, so watching today was a real treat. So good to see your family again and what you have been up to. What a beautiful life and family you have. Be safe!
That was really special. It gives hope to me to see the elegance and care that other people around the world act towards their fellow man. The kids certainly helped! Ha ha Great episode. I leave with a smile. Peace
Oh wow!! Beautiful scenery, I want to thank you Ben and Ashley for taking us on these wonderful adventures, showing us beautiful nature scenery and for keeping it real through the bad as well as the good!! Stay safe and I always look forward to my favorite sailing family to post every few weeks, you're the best!
Love you guys! Yes, everyone likes the kids. I really enjoy watching yours grow. So very sorry about your damaged sail. It's always something, isn't it? Safe travels. ❤
One of the best episodes you've ever created Ben and Ash. Incredible memories for the two little adventurers, showcasing more sharing of culture and showing us some of the most incredible vistas on this beautiful planet. Sorry about the sail but it shows the fragility of the situation and shows your ability to work a) under pressure and b) as a Team - yet again. So many life-lessons - in one episode! Love from BC.
Ben and Ashley hi from Calgary, You are two amazing people and equally amazing parents with two beautiful, healthy and so so fortunate children. When they are 50+ they will remember these very special moments. Thanks.
Wow, what an intense journey! Seeing that sail shredded was a real shock-definitely not what anyone would expect. But your resilience and ability to adapt is so inspiring. Every episode just draws me deeper into your adventures. Thanks for sharing both the highs and the lows with us. Stay wild, stay free! ⛵
What a great video this week! Quality content and filming. I have rode horses my entire life and Willow truly sat the saddle well. She may be a natural horse(wo)man. :)
The children are so lucky to have this lifestyle and two absolutely beautiful wonderful and loving parents that are sharing this with them. God bless you all and stay safe out there
I look forward every week for your up dates, the education your kids are getting is priceless. Not you will do what you are told, just seeing how life should be. Your own truth not government lies.
I was so excited when I caught a big fish, As I was filliting it I accidentally threw away the fillets and was left with the carcass, I was completely shocked at my stupidity 😲😂🤣love NAHOA. Great stuff, Ash, Ben, Willa an Bodie, awesome. 💯🇦🇺👍
Old is a state of mind. There are times the body says old. At 3/4 century I still live for the adventure. Not the same adventure as when I was 1/4 century. So many places to explore. Keep up the good work.
Thank you. my favorite channel . I didn't know how much I like sailing, but surprisingly I do. But than again at a young age I know I should travel to know the real truth about the world. And your channel helps me to do just that. 😊
OMG! I am completely USELESS! Watching episode after episode. You guys have NO IDEA how fantastic it looks out there, specially while living in the hot AZ Mohave desert!!😂
Hello Ben & Ashley, Yes, your children are beautiful and very lucky to have such lovely Parents! I would be scared to take them to such remote places as you do. I will never forget how fast Willa got sick with the re-labeled peanut butter. I also remember how fast Ashley reacted and used the ana kit she had thought to bring! And then how fast Ben got to a medical facility. Dan from Nanaimo.
I have to agree 100% as i have lived on a remote island, I have witnessed how tourism has ruined it, What you say about being careful about trading terms is so right, Its so easy to spoil what is so perfect, Its such a fine balance, But i love that you understand this and show it to the world, Lots of love from me❤👍
17:49 thats not pistachios, its Jamblon or Jambolan or Jamblong : asian tree found in tropical islands in tahitit and marquises they call it "pistas" because the fruit "piss and tache" (stain)😉
Ben, 26 mins in, when you are pulling on the rope ( :) ), have your thumbs point towards your belly when pulling. This is how tug of wars are won and how mountaineers do it.
Theres an older guy there whose had a major back injury recently .. hes fillmed the old musicians performing under the tree with their van to the side. Sailing Red Seas said they had seen you. 😊 Little kids riding horses guaranteed to stick... especially with Willow. Your lucky she doesn't want to take one back to the boat.😉🧙🏻♂️
i don't think tech will replace authentic experience. it's the way the story is been told, like a book. When there's room for feelings and imagination. dreamy, or realistic, or both. a sweat filter might get me over though 🤭
Better than all sailing channels
You two are so calm and enjoyable to watch. I wish you all the best!
What I love about Ashley and Ben is their interaction with the locals and for me the education of the islands. My wife and I just got from Fiji and I just love the people and the simplicity of how they live. Thank you both!❤
Glad you had a good trip also! God bless you!
These are the luckiest kids on the planet❤
They really are. Happy and well-adjusted.
Sunday Morning coffee and the Nahoa crew on a new adventure. Of course we love the videos!

I’m not able to send money although I wish I could ❤. You’re channel brings me true joy ❤️
You two keep raising the bar for the most awesome sailing adventures… what a great end to my day…
Thank you for sharing.

Enjoyed the video, showing the lovely farmer and the great adventures with the kids. Thanks for sharing.

The drone footage adds so much to your videos. I think very few of the old sailors had views like you have shared with us. Thx!
That was really special. It gives hope to me to see the elegance and care that other people around the world act towards their fellow man. The kids certainly helped! Ha ha
Great episode. I leave with a smile. Peace
What an amazing experience. How beautiful. Your kids are so blessed you are giving them these experiences. Love the journey. Safe travels ❤🙌🏼👍🏼

How many languages does Ashley speak?
I’ve been wondering the same!
A canadian that speaks english and french is not so weird no? Maybe she’s from Québec?
No, just smart BC kid that paid attention in French class!
Theres an older guy there whose had a major back injury recently .. hes fillmed the old musicians performing under the tree with their van to the side.
Sailing Red Seas said they had seen you. 😊
Little kids riding horses guaranteed to stick... especially with Willow. Your lucky she doesn't want to take one back to the boat.😉🧙🏻♂️
