Love Jordan just taking a beating to weaken him. That is his strength. I also love that Sarah, Jordan, and Jonathan are acting like real teens. Sometimes teens think what they are going through is the most important and their parents just don't get it. It also shows that everyone is at their best when they all talk to each other and listen.

This episode was fantastic. Jon El was scary. The way Jordan faced him down after being beating up was awesome. Him flying was shot beautifully. Clark and Lana have a beautiful relationship. It may take a little while but she will eventually understand.
This eps. made me realize how much I did NOT miss the teen melodrama with Sara, Jordan and Jon. Still, at least they felt realistic with worrying about their own issues while bigger stuff was going down. And Jordan impressed with his final fight against Bizarro Jon.
I loved the episode, I see Jordan’s a fan of the Rocky 3 method of wearing out Jon El by letting him whale on him, I know some are annoyed by the teen drama but they’re 15 & it’s nice to see a show that lets 15 year olds act like the kids that they are, the ending was perfect with Clark telling Lana , I gotta say I like that Clark has the same method for revealing the secret to everyone… glasses off & float into the sky.
Love this show and it just gets better and better. It's hard to believe it's only in the second season, it feels like it's been on so much longer. I feel bad for Clark because it's going to really hurt him if Lana can't forgive him for keeping the secret from him. I hope she can forgive her. With her being the mayor, she will be a huge asset for the Kent's.

I can't remember what it's called but Clark does something to his face that people don't realize that Clark and Superman are the same. So I don't think Jordan or Jonathan know about that or how to do it.
It's pretty cool how Lana wasn't squeamish about pulling the shards of Kryptonite out of Superman's chest, despite the dire situation they were in: Her tied up & awaiting a forced merge and Superman practically murdered by the Bizarro World version of his son.
Nat is working on her own suit pretty sure, but that's just my guess. Considering there is a scene with Sarah, Jordan, and Jonathan appearing to be hanging out together that wasn't in this episode it's a safe bet she gets let in on the secret.
I think that was Natalie with the boys and they were going into the mine probably in search of XK to power whatever Natalie was building. Sarah seems to have written Jordan off completely and has decided to not give him the time of day. She will get full support from her parents to treat him like garbage, no doubt.
Personally, I really am glad they were realistic and showed them breaking up. But I don't want to come down hard on Sarah. She has a hell of a lot on her plate right now. Her parents are divorcing. She's trying to figure out if she is bi, gay, or straight. She's also trying to reclaim an ethnic heritage her family had largely abandoned in order to fit in, and a heritage that a lot of white people tend to trash anyway. She's also dealing with all of the horrors of high school. Did she make mistakes? Oh hell yes. Does she treat Jordan as he honestly deserves to be treated? No, but a lot of us didn't treat our high school crushes properly. So I am going to cut her some slack here.
This is one of those episodes that I like more the more I think about it. There were things that I didn't like the idea of but they were executed so well that the show got me on board. I think the Kents may include Lana on the decision on whether Sarah should be told or not. I really want to see a main character merged :D
I disagree with you about Sarah. She should not be told. Firstly, she's just 16 ( since she's driving on her own she has to be 16) and she has enough on her plate right now. Trying to determine if she is bi, straight or gay. She doesn't need the additional complication of having to spend the rest of her life keeping the Kent family secret. And also her behavior this season doesn't lend well to the notion of her being a trustworthy secret keeper. She's away from Jordan for a month, and cheats on him. She tells him and accepts his forgiveness, only to meet the girl again without his knowledge. She tries to emotionally manipulate him into spending time with herself and the girl, thereby giving her an excuse to spend more time with the girl without feeling like she was betraying Jordan. And then she uses the lame excuse of breaking up with him because he's not spending time with her, even though she witnessed his brother being verbally assaulted by two adults in front of her and should have realized the need to support his brother alone was enough to excuse why Jordan hasn't been available to her. ( Personally, I don't think she broke up with Jordan because of him not spending time with her. To me, she was looking for an excuse. The minute her dad gave it to her, she latched on to it. Sarah's not stupid, and she knows better than to take advice from an adulterer. I think it was just a convenient excuse.) In other words, at this point in time, given the lack of maturity Sarah is showing - which is, by the way, a perfectly normal lack in someone of her age - I don't think she should be told. Unlike Clark and Lana who were friends before adolescence, and who remained friends after meeting each other's life partner, Jordan and Sarah are exclusively boyfriend and girlfriend. Most likely they will drift a part as they get older. Burdening her with the secret is just not fair.

Back to the Superman and Lois 2x11 reaction - I love all the characters on this show. It must have been so much fun for Jordan Elsass aka. Jonathan to finally break out his acting on the show he seemed to be in full throttle as Bizarro villain Jonathan. As for Alex Garfin his character Jordan continues in almost every episode to delight us fans with his take on being Earth- prime Superboy. I really believe that so far Jordan aside from kryptonite his second biggest weakness is that he doubts himself and that is when his Super abilities falter or fail him. Hopefully in season 3 will continue to Jordan gain strength and confidence as the show moves forward in the seasons to come. And Clark needs to show Jordan how to fly that could be so cool in the show like a mortal dad teaches his son how to drive. I have to admit something about this episode. For once, I didn't hate Natalie. All of her lines weren't either sarcastic or sullen. Her present served a purpose. And while I am thoroughly sick of her being the second super genius in this town ( Jordan of the multiple AP classes being the first), I think I could tolerate her if she continues to act this way. Never expected that. It is nice to see that the writers of the show are taking the time to look at Clark's almost pathological need to protect his secret. He hurt the boys terribly by not allowing them to know about their Kryptonian heritage at a younger age, and is constantly hurting Jonathan by not allowing him to share it as he should. Perhaps by gaining the courage to tell Lana, he's taking baby steps to learn when to let it go. Now he needs to learn how to listen to his kids. " Why didn't you just tell me those were Candice's drugs?" Seriously? Clark walked into Jonathan's bedroom and cut Jonathan off when Jonathan tried to explain himself. But somehow that's Jonathan's fault? And could someone please explain two basic truths to the Kent parents? Number one, most kids will experiment with drugs. And experimenting is exactly what Jonathan was doing. He already decided he didn't want to take them anymore. And two, tough love is a technique reserved for drug addicts. If used on children who are experimenting, it tends to have the exact opposite effect of what you intend. Instead of teaching your children a lesson, it alienates them, and teaches them that you overreact. They end up being more likely to hide things from you, not more likely to come to you with problems. It really sucks to see two parents who love their children, and who are usually very good parents, screw up something so simple. Especially when Lana flat out told Lois to try talking to Jonathan rather than usual condemnation and judgment . ( And no, she didn't try that when she came into his room. Her tone was still very judgmental as was a word choice. I could feel my hackles going up on his behalf, so you know he felt it.) So I guess we can label this as another episode that passes with me wanting to super glue Lois and Clark to chairs and make them watch Disney's Encanto. Seriously, I keep waiting for someone to write a fanfic where they actually watch this film and are literally devastated to realize how seriously they misjudge the situation with Jonathan. I can't be the only one thinking that! Everybody keeps thinking that Lana was hitting on Superman. I kept thinking about that scene where Morgan Edge met Lana and all but fell over his feet offer her a job. Wouldn't it be hilarious if what she was actually responding to was some sort of subconscious attraction to Tahl Rho? Like she's got some kind of thing for men that can fly?

She's not being a hypocrite. She's being a 16-year-old girl. And don't forget she's trying to figure out if she is bi, straight, or gay. Her parents are going through a divorce. And she still dealing with high school. Also, you realize that the number of people who dated his teenagers and ended up being together as life partners is infinitesimal, don't you? Dating is a teenager is not about being together for the rest of your lives. It's a process that allows you to learn more about yourself, is it when you are in your twenties and '30s you will know where all of your curves and edges are and can look for someone to match those. By far, the most realistic thing the show is ever done is have them break up.
Like all the plot momentum I felt in season 1 isn't there in 2 maybe because we keep breaking even though I love the show like a lot the breaks are killing it and not in a good way
