the reason you feel like there are gears is because go-kart clutches disengage at different times so when you first start going the clutch isn't fully disengaged but when the engine rpm and speed get higher is disengages more
Hey Braydon the reason the belts keep blowing are there upside down, have the flat side up and where the belt slopes put it towards the clutch where it slopes it will give you more torque and top speed and keep them from blowing
