I'm not one of those guys who say 30fps is unplayable, we had like 2 whole console generations where that was pretty much the baseline and we got some of the greatest games of all time and nobody complainedabout the frame rate. But, I'm kind of surprised at 720p with ai upscaling and lower settings this game doesn't run much higher than 30fps. However considering we got a console adjacent port of NFS Most wanted on the vita as a way to play games like this on the go, being able to play this game on a steam deck is a huge step forward.
Unbound runs flawlessly on steam deck at a little lower resolution, low graphics and 40 fps lock, no lags and constant framerates, played it for like 10 hours now in my deck and no problems so far
NFS Heat was better imo. Unbound is just an infinite grind to make money and compete with your friend that betrayed you. If you want to buy it, wait until it drops to $3 cause at the current price is not worth it.
Nothing beats the steam deck. I been trying to play on my portal even with the new cloud service but it's not the same as the steam deck. The portal is for the house and the steam deck is the real handheld.
Nothing? In what world do you live brother? lol any device with the Z1 extreme chip destroys the Steam Deck when it comes with performance. Yes the SD has Linux which is smooth but that’s also a double sided blade because you can’t play most games that have anti-cheat’s because you need windows. Once you run windows on a SD you will see how the performance is miles lower than the Ally
Awesome for sharing gameplay on steam deck 👍🏼

You should made a gameplay video of Delta Force nor Stalker 2 on Steam Deck after that
Does NFS games runs deafult on steam deck? Or need to do some tinkering installing connect?
It installed normally. I just adjusted the graphics settings to get the best performance as possible. But No Tinkering for Installation.
its runnin a little bit slow.... :(
30 fps on a racing game sucks. My ally x runs it at 60 plus fps!

Heat was very good. Never played Payback tho. $5 for this game I still believe it's a great price.
