Josh is a very, very talented young man. Nearly everything he does turns into musical gold. Even his whistle. He should re-do all the 40s and 50s Christmas songs of that era and put it on a CD.

Thank you so much. Even in a small village in the north of Quebec province in Canada, 65 years ago it was possible to buy by mail a 33 rpm vinyl record of Perry Como for Christmas. This song takes me right back to that time........great memories for me. 🎄🎶☃

Going back and relistening to this in February is a compliment to how good this is
Josh said (on Patreon) he took an entire week to arrange this, writing out the string arrangements and vocal arrangements. I was inspired by this wonderful rendition to create a lead sheet (in Finale) and learn to play this on piano and mandolin. The original was in Ab, but Josh and I play it in G (much easier). I love the harmonies, and now I'm going to try to convince my musical friends to sing with me. My mom used to play her Perry Como records (78s) and watch his TV show.

Wow, when it first started I was delighted at the girls's harmony. I thought they were doing a sing-a-long with an old version of a really good male singer. Then the camera panned right and I could not believe it was Josh! What a wonderful surprise. He is so versitle. Doing this while playing guitar is even harder.

Josh’s singing is incredible. It is so reminiscent of male singers from the 40’s and 50’s, when men’s voices were golden and and they could whistle.
I really like the instrumental arrangement, especially in the part b (a pair of hopalong boots..) - there's all kinds of crazy things going on without interfering with the main instruments, the vocals. Tucci Swing is also phenomenal, on point every time. That's just so nice to listen to!
