Important question: How old is the cheating person? A teenager? Ok, happens, I also cheated in young years on family board game evenings.
If older, it is just sad, that someone have such a miserable life, to need the small Victory achievement and cheat for that.
The guy from the video clearly has nothing, if he has to put it on reddit, to show that he is anything, knowing he is nothing.
So guys, girls and everything in between, don't cheat, on the long run you will lose only more, pretending something you are not never works out, exept for Elon Musk. If your skill (like mine) is only enough for gold, than it is that and that's ok. Enjoy the battle in your class and if you really want to improve, you have to train, everything in life is like that, but if you take the Sylvester Stalone rocky way, than it means something, when you achieve it.

I mean obviously something would have had to be fishy with a guy going from gold to conq with just JD. If the sole reason for it was that JD is so easy to play and totally broken, everyone would be doing it. And while JD has high winrates, they are not THAT high. People need to exercise some source criticism. They don't think.
I think it's because people get very emotional and frustrated when they lose to aggro civs (I do too sometimes), and those emotions definitely impair critical thinking
For me the reason I didn't suspect cheating was because people constantly exaggerate if not completely lie about these things already (and also I knew it was just dumb covert whining about JD so I didn't even look that closely).
Like, if you'd asked me what I thought about it IRL after seeing it I'd have probably said something like "oh it's some salty whiner who happened to finally get from plat to diamond playing JD and was inspired to use that premise for a post complaining about the civ"
@imperator9343 That's a really good point, feels like half the posts on the subreddit are complaining about cheaters these days. Coupled with the fact that it's possible to rapidly climb the ladder when you only play one strat of one civ makes me see why it wouldn't be immediately suspicious
@@imperator9343 I mean yeah that I can believe but that's because you didn't read it and assumed it was plat to diamond. You have to agree that if you HAD read it and saw that it was supposedly gold to conq (in roughly 2 months) it would have seemed incredibly suspicious.

One noob question - Can I watch replays of pro level players from within the game itself (not twitch or youtube). The replay from within the game (which I use to watch my own replays) allow for much better understanding of Player's actions. Is it possible to watch other people's matches from within the game application?
You can watch anyone's match replay as long as its open and not hidden
I recommand the channel Aussie Drongo for good replays with good commentary, he explains very well what each player is doing. Tho, if you're looking for a build order, you will have to look for a dedicated video for it.
You also can check the games by yourself in game but you might miss a lot of important things!
I think you Just need to search for pro players nicknames in game and look at their match historyk as long as its not private you can watch latest matches i ve never done it myself so i m not 100% on that

@@cobrasen Beasty has really good build orders, I recommand writting down step by step and then going vs a easy bot to do the build order on time. Might take 10 tries but at least you will know exactly what to do every game!
Wow i remember seeing this post and trying JD myself and while yeah it gave me a slight boost like i would get from playing top meta civs it was nothing to what was needed to climb even just 1 rank let alone the amount of ranks this guy climbed. I came away thinking i just suck at JD and don’t understand it.

Dude, I call out 2 or 3 players a day like this. It's gotten ridiculous with these smurf account hacks, it's hard to get an honest game. I hope Wiuwiu catches all of these hacks.

Talking about skill transfer from Total War to AoE4, I do owe my map awareness in CounterStrike 2 and Valorant to the good old Starcraft 2 and the importance of minimap in RTS.
It is amazing how toxic ☣ people can be in games which don't really encourage toxic ☣ behaviour.
I ran into one of these guys in a team ranked was hacking the fog of war seeing where my army and vills went at all times he changed his username since but I rewatched the replay and it’s clear as day and even checked his steam profile and he’s banned from valve for cheating in their games

I don't play AoE but I've played a lot of other games and have watched gameplay of AoE. The people @12:00 pulling up potential outliers to try and prove a race or faction is broken is fucking hilarious. When I played LoL a lot and tried to climb high I remember a guy in korea named "Love Galio" who was gold 1 playing 300 games of fizz, and then when he switched to galio the next year he was top 200 (challenger) in the game with an amazing winrate.
These outliers do not necessarily mean a faction, character, whatever is broken and never has.
So reddit is where all the good players are. I was wondering, because I couldn't find them in my games.

I haven’t checked other replays, but I think this is the same player as Chinito. I noticed recently when I played Chinito he had roughly 600 games hard stuck in gold, and was all of the sudden high diamond(later conq) playing JD. I went back and watched our replay and he sniped every sheep, then after scouting the map he ran his scout into my tc(possibly as a cover?). I wish I would have uploaded the replay. He didn’t seem to play particularly well, but was always on the right spot.

i never lied about anything though, i only started the game from 2 months ago which was true, and i never said i was not using map advantages
I played this guy a few weeks ago in gold. Already during the game I felt he was probably cheating (something I never think) because he tower rushed my gold without even knowing. He also kept moving his villagers away before he could know my units were about to attack them. When I saw the profile in the beginning of his video I already knew before seeing his username later😂 i hope they ban him and his children's children as well

What concerns me is if this idiot got hacks and used them to win how many others are doing it? He would NOT have been caught if he had not made all this noise. How bad is hacking in this game ATM? This sort of stuff ruins games.

What concerns me more is that they are giving temp bans to hackers, according to Reddit comments. If I were a hacker and only got banned temporarily, I will likely do it again. They need perma ban.
I am gold 2 and I played this guy few weeks ago. Trust me you will know if it is that obvious. I already told him in game he was a cheater. Only time i have ever done that so i wasnt on copium. He tower rushed my gold instantly, without knowing where it was. Also I had 2 golds near my tc so he couldnt have known. He also moved away his villagers already before my units were even in his vision range when I was about to attack him. Funny he is atarring in this video now😂

I will say, i am an old dota pro and started playing aoe4 with the expansion and i have no clue whats happening really but i have a 80% wr spamming jeanne and currently plat 3 after less then 50 games. I think ill get to conq fairly soon as i win 4 matches an hour on avg when i choose to play.
That being said, ive also just watched like 200 hours of content this past month on aoe trying to soak up as much knowledge as possible.
Im terrified for the day i match against a conq dheli player, seems like a nightmare

Hmm, I play team games regularly, and this season, I've seen an influx of low level accounts (level 20, 30, 15, 10) playing on gold / plat (my leagues) and featuring skills that seem way higher than gold / plat. I think either smurfs, people returning to the game, or hackers are plentiful these days
Same... I understand smurfs in high leagues but I'm seeing too many gold in team games that are brand new accounts but play like pros. Makes no sense. This video is concerning.

Beat some dude in gold yesterday when he was OOTD and i was ayyubids which i dont play and i won because "OOTD is underpowered and can't win" People just can't accept they aren't the best.
Today I played ranked games with Byzantines and your strategy and won 4/5 games went to gold2 first time 🎉🎉🎉
My cousin plays with me and honestly was plat3. Now with jd is conqueror 1. He did play a lot tho.

Call this a speculative answer on my part but for one, generally speaking foods the most important resource.
And for two, the second tc increases how much food you need because now your making twice as many vills.
Well, I see a lot of JD players that should be at a way lower rank based on their skills... That's a truth, maybe not gold to conq, but plat to diamond for sure. JD is op, and this is not deniable. Cheers

Now I feel really dumb because I’ve been largely hard stuck on gold three with 150 average apm(now anyways). 😂
I see lots of players in my games sometimes with like 250APM, but it doesn’t mean shit if you don’t make units and take bad fights, or castle rushing into early knight aggression.
bro my biggest problem is low apm and i managed to reach diamond one. i am not sure what you are doing wrong. if you have the apm that you claim to have, just copy a couple of things a pro like beasty does in his games and you will reach high rank easy. with that much apm, all you need to do is:
1. micro your army like pros do, use the wide line formation and then move, A-move, move, A-move etc.
2. Make sure to never have floating resources. keep them always in mind and whenever you see that you gather more than you spend, use them.
@@mrjohnxtheking I think it’s mostly the inexperience and the lack of knowing how to take advantage of certain civs/situations and knowing what to do when.
Like I can do really well vs HRE as Rus for example because naturally making archers n knights basically hard counters everything they want to do. Get abbey of the trinity and fight for relics, take ‘‘em to ram ranch n gg
I just don’t have that knowledge for every other civ and situation. That strat works well against a lot, and others it just doesn’t. I also play Zhu Xi’s and feel like I face similar problems just with different civs and different units.
The high apm comes from playing a fair amount of Warcraft 3 and enhancement shaman in classic (had to bind every letter of the alphabet three times I had so many macros) so I am naturally familiar with a lot of the mechanics like hotkeying, but don’t really know a lot of the other hot keys for things so I’m naturally wasting a lot of that APM too.
Only recently figured out where the cycle through scout button was(I had been using cycle through monks, H for TC’s, select all idles, building hot keys for like farms housing and mining camps n ofc hotkeying production / armies but not much else).
My scouting micro is also pretty dog 💩 ironically as a Rus Enjoyer I know.
I typically throw some in my armies with cavalry and just leave a bunch around the map, maybe patrolling but rarely use them super efficiently like you’ll see the pros do.
Dude, I'm gold and probably have more games than this guy, give me any civ even with cheats, I will lose to any given high plat player no matter what, not even talking about diamonds. So there is no way that he is suddenly goat with JD, I tried all CIVs and I believe at lower levels it wont matter what civ you play (op or not op), lower rank players just suck, including me.

Funny enough Ayyubids have got the biggest winrate in almost all leagues.
But People want to hate at this point, it's just irrational. They dont like the hero concept and they think that it is ruining their game. Not the fact that they don't want to adapt.
Legit question, how do I spot cheaters?
one of the main ways to know for sure if someone is cheating is watching replay from their view. If they are looking into fog of war without a scout/units, thats a telltale sign of vision hacking. Sending units to a location they havent scouted is a big one too, say im on the deer clear across the map and my opponent immediately raids it. Either they saw my move with a scout/tower vision or they are cheating. You can always assume they found it legit, but the replay tool can confirm if you arent sure.

I'm only on 1:15 , but it's already sounds like bullshit. I'm real noob in RTS and have lvl 21-23. So my biggest achievement on those lvl is 3 win in a row against medium AI. I believe that all players have diffrent skill and expiriens on the start, BUT i don't belive in "I take diamond on Janna by smashing all buttons". Even medium AI requires more attention and macro(micro?) than "smash all buttons". Atleast for me.
I don't think I could get to conqueror even with seeing what the opponent is doing and I'm not stuck in gold so I still think it's impressive
i dont even know what the cheats were but based on the name maphack , and zoomhack. assuming its just producing units at crazy rates you just overwhelm your opponents in feudal age, and keep producing. but even then.. not impressive

😂 he was at level 21 🤣 everyone can get to conq with a new account because your opponent are of same level as rank and level both matter that's the reason why many people pick a noob account teammate who mostly plays good to push team rank pushing in team rank with someone having a new I'd in your team is easiest way to reach conq 🤣 even if he won't be a hacker I have a justification for that how he reached conq

I got caught cheating at csgo about 5 years ago. Was borde, also didn't like the community. So I didn't care, and had lots of fun trolling. So worth the red letters on my profile, Vac ban.
Didn't care about the game anymore at that point anyway. 100% worth.
I'll probably cheat at this game to eventually once I stop caring about it and it's community, but not any time soon.
