Me too, in a sense. But its more like i feel i can live in space for a very long time and it still would feel natural to me, while being fascinated everyday by where i am.
It may be a result of genetic memory from thousands of generations ago, when what we call 'human' genes were brought to Earth by a highly advanced ancient civilization that then genetically engineered the human species to help it achieve certain objectives on Earth.
Sometimes ive had the perception that time is a circle and it could be that we are remembering our future-self from the past. Ive talked about this, but i feel its a rare view. @@foreign_agent

Trying man. Been struggling financially for so long it's hard to see any sort of light at the end of the tunnel. College, 6 years in the Marines, full-stack software development, and experience in multiple trades from welding to electrical work and I can't find a reasonable job. Try Elite Dangerous. I don't play anymore, but I did spend hours and hours piloting ships and exploring solar systems looking out of the cockpit of one of my ships.

Lone Echo is quite amazing on PC VR. Just drifting out of the space ship and floating in space with great space backdrops is already worth it.

@@jun1orIV Well, if you watch videos of real astronauts working in 0 g, I remember them saying it's a bit like sleeping underwater - your body has no sense of up or down, so you don't have a sense of "laying down", but you don't have a sense of urgently needing to correct yourself, either. They had funny little sleeping bags in basically little sleeping closets so they wouldn't float away during resting hours. Allegedly you get used to it, though the astronauts in question were only on a mission of 5 months, not living there. From what I've seen of modern stations, it's probably the same.
Of course, this is a space-themed white noise channel and the backgrounds are art pieces the author photoshopped for aesthetic enjoyment, not realism - so the more obvious explanation is that this is a fictional room with some kind of fictional simulated gravity, and the person above would thus sleep completely normally. :)

I used to listen to StarTrek ship engines & the bleeps of the computer on loop back it was very soothing, I used to fall asleep from it & you start to believe you actually living on a StarTrek ship.
The rotation of the planet is great, but the slow movement of the firmament really impresses me...nice detail

im no physics pro but i assume it would probably be your rotation rather than the one of the planet because otherwise it would mean you could somehow escape the planets gravitational pull while being completely still, which is unlikely
That looks like the coziest bed, soft comforter and fluffy pillows. The video screens are sweet, most interesting to look at with the orange and pink color variations. The blue light coming from the outside is a nice touch, only wish the planet was moving just a little slower, kinda feels like a rapid decent at any moment from the ship which would give me slight anxiety , I'd prob close the blinds. The sound is nicely droned orchestrated with a slight hypnotic background sound perfect for sleeping.

Not that my opinion matters, but actually I think the planet is moving at just the right speed - enough that you see that the vehicle is moving, but not too fast.

this is genius. it's been years that i imagine myself in my bed traveling in space, helps me fall asleep. except i imagine that way smaller, just my bed with a dome over it as a spacecraft. Sometimes i imagine the same but as a bed-car on the road. funny to realize weird thoughts like that are pretty common actually

That's what I was thinking. How often do you see the perfect visual representation of the perfect soundscape? Makes me want to subscribe to the whole channel.
Maybe one day in the future where human technology so advanced that we could literally own a spaceship and travel across system. Yet packs in that little spaceship is a cozy home and all things that you need to continue this endless journey whether alone or with companions. Too bad i would not be there to experience it myself.
so crazy to see this because my first thought is that I'd be completely bored with cabin fever within 2 days and want to go back down and run around in a field somewhere and hear the birds again. Grass is always greener, people. Where you are right now may be the most beautiful place in the whole universe.

I grew up next to an industrial zone, and the industrial noise became my 'music'. I never thought that in the future I would listen to something like that, but as it turned out, I've come to love psychill and ambient genres. They are equally atmospheric and really allow me to dive in and focus on my work =)

Sometimes I imagine living in something like this. Because I live in a small apartment, alone with just a cat, rarely go out or get visits, and staying up late, with the curtains shut. Then sometimes play some nice music when I get up. Sometimes I wish I could be really alone like that.

I wish I had been born during a time where space exploration at a galactic level was as normal as getting your beginners license when you turn 16. Sadly, I doubt our race will even make it pass our own solar system. In some strange way, there's something comforting listening to the mechanically ethereal hum of the ship while it orbits around an unknown planet.
