As a former marching band guy, I really liked Minnesota State Universities "Maverick Machine"; my favorite was the last band Arcadia; they nailed it with the Christmas music, presentation and the red uniforms! For the small size of the band Portage H.S had a great sound!!! Congratulations to all of them!

I’m the girl on the right of the third banner for Sheraton Grand, heaviest banners to carry. You better bring your arm muscles if you volunteer. I struggled the whole time! But it was great to say I did it! 🎉
I was the trombone in the fourth row first column for the portage marching band at 1:12:26. Gotta say, even now looking back at this, I surprised the band’s sound was that good! It was so fun preforming in the parade, but cold!
I liked this parade better than the Macy's. The marching bands were all great and it was sure nice to see all the smiling faces! Wouldn't it be nice if the news channels would focus on the good things in this world! These kids deserve some happiness. Come on Washington! stop thinking about yourselves and focus on the hard-working Americans and their families!!!!
What has the federal government go to do with this? Also, even if local TV did cover this parade, people would be complaining about how inane the banter between the hosts is, and how the parade focuses on has-been musical stars (if this parade has that.)
