For anyone wondering, the part at 1:53 is NOT Norwegian, she once stated on Twitter, that that is a language she made up for herself, a language made out of emotions. She said that that way she can really speak from the heart, and people also only get the emotions in those words, since without emotions they don't really have a meaning

I recall her posting this once on her IG story. She wrote that Sun is 'she' for her. And she was also talking something about the Moon. Can't remember much but it was few days before the song came out.

I’m late to reply, but why can’t it be both? That’s how I interpret it. The person she is singing about is just like the sun. (Aurora is bisexual anyway so it would make sense).
It could actually be she talking about herself, her self love, and how she used to love everything before. But I guess everything fits right? That's the beauty in Aurora's songs -pun intended-, we can listen to the same song at the same time, but feel it in so many ways~

I graduate from uni today! I just came by real quick to say my thanks to the music which kept me awake and determined to fight my way through the many difficulties, both physical, mental and emotional, that life kept hurling my way.
Congratulations! AURORA is the BEST!
I saw one of her interviews where she was asked why she thought her music was universally loved... She took a little while to formulate a response but eventually decided that it was due to the sheer wealth of emotion she pours into each of her songs. She didn't seem sure but I, at least, agree utterly. Every echo has meaning; each word carries weight. It was for this reason that I liked the addition of the verse in Norwegian. People who allow themselves to be lost in her music don't need to know what the words mean exactly because they understand what the song means as a whole... I suppose in reality, this is just a really long way of saying:
'Wow. That was... wow.'

Listening to this after two years... This song was the first I ever heard of Aurora.
She's quite the artist, in the painting and drawing sense too! I saw a part of a documentary where she was at home, and she was drawing, surrounded by amazing things she had created. To have that kind of talent...
I fucking love this. There's hundreds of songs that I absolutely adore, but only few touched me in a way that I can't describe. This is one of them.

I like the live version too and the acoustic one more than this one, those versions are kind of powerful, by the way is great to have variations of her songs so we don't get bored.
I preffer the acoustic version, is so much more intense, magical, happier than this official version...
Ana Cristina Capre same, but idk,sometimes her songs sound way much better when she sings it live, sounds more alive and you can easily feel the emotion. Same thing with queendom, i like the live version much more than the studio one which sometimes just sound a bit flat and kinda boring.

This a one of those song ( of which she has many) that delve into complicated human emotions and experiences. This song for instance after listening to it over and over again seems to be about those complicated feelings of a past love and the yearning to be with that person again but coming to terms that it’s okay to miss aspects of a past love ( and maybe even the feeling of being loved and not actually loving that person) but it being okay to move on or to indulge in those feelings. It’s definitely a interesting and vulnerable song. ❤
