MotoMan, you've got to forgive me here but I'll get to comments about the car in the subsequent videos. That you guys are up so early, and allowing us to partake of the gloriously wet Deutschland morning, is a blessing. Absolutely gorgeous!
I would go with the Mulsanne Speed personally because I would prefer a sedan I could drive myself as opposed to one that screams chauffeur driven! Greetings from Atlanta, GA
Mulsanne. More sporting than a Roller. Driver’s car. Blower Bentley heritage. Driving an S8 and satisfied for now. Mulsanne Speed as I grow a bit older.
I will choose the Bentley Mulsanne Extended wheelbase because it the most elegant of them all, and i will use it to go to the university every day, and I am from the United Arab Emirates .
I live in the midwest United States. When the weather is nice, I would daily drive the Mulsanne Speed. Do people drive regular Mulsannes? If I had a chauffeur the Mulsanne EWB or Phantom EWB would still really only be used when I wanted to impress people.
Love your reviews! Your enthusiasm for this car is on point. My car: the speed. Use: summer, spring and fall around the DC Metro area on clear weekend days, the occasional heavy hitter business meeting and those oh so special DC social events! Hello Virginia Wine Country!
been doing this 6 years and only 125k subs? I enjoy the reviews but how do you manage such a low sub count? I think there should be at least 500k subs on this channel
The Mulsanne Speed? A fantastically beautiful automobile, but where in the US would I ever get a chance to open it up? Plus, I think it too posh for a daily driver. As far as Bentley's go, the Flying Spur V8 S model is less ostentatious and more of a "driver's" ride. Sadly, as much as I would love to own either, I will never be able to afford a new Spur or Mulsanne. (I drive a Mercedes E350 wagon, and will be trading it in on a new 2017 E63 AMG wagon when they arrive in the Summer of 2017...this is when MB USA Customer Service told me they would be for sale and delivery Stateside.) I love your shows - keep up the excellent work.
The Mulsanne is truly handbuilt in England. The Flying Spur is based on the VW Phaeton and is only 'assembled' in England (apart from the leather and woodwork.
Rolls has the straight across salon seating which allows everyone to exit curbside, not into traffic. The console is a problem for limo service in heavy traffic.
I would buy the Mulsanne EWB because while it is still a Bentley, (and by that I mean a luxury-mobile that can hurl through space at 180+ mph) you now have the option of being driven around in your mulsanne while having a large amount of extra amenities in the backseat compared to either the speed or the base model. Obviously these extra backseat amenities were made possible because this particular model option is focused in the backseat, considering they expect the owner to be driven around if they have made the purchase to get the mulsanne EWB.
Maybach is my choice. Now that Mercedes has released the S600 I dream of it. The speed, luxury, and styling of the car is unprecedented. You know it has strong ties with Mercedes-Benz, and since I am a MB Fanboy it's the only choice for me. I also live in Boulder, Colorado.
Which one: I'd pick the non-extended Mulsanne Speed over a Rolls Royce and by far over a Maybach. Why: The Mulsanne has this presence that people aren't used to seeing, as opposed to a Rolls Royce that is easily recognisable and a Maybach which is just a Mercedes to most non-car people. What would I use it for: daily driver. Region: Belgium, Europe.
If you want to be driven, get a rolls. If you want to drive then Bentley. Tough choice between the 'regular' one and the speed. Would get one of those, from South Africa.
Oh look, MotoManTV UK plates! I like the updates thy did to Mulsanne, especially the front end … I always disliked that bumper. I was worried that they might give the Mulsanne the new mustache they have in the Continental & Benteyga. I like the new grille… I prefer it to the old one, Chrysler ruined that one (insert Kat Williams Chrysler 300 sketch here) The EWB is my favorite of the bunch (actually they are 4, you forgot the Grand Limo), I was thought that the Mulsanne is too short for its design & the EWB fixes that for me. As much as I like the new Mulsanne, I'd still take the Phantom! But here's the thing, if those 3 are on your short shopping list…. Chances are you can afford having all 3 & then some ;) As always, excellent work M!
The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase is really the BEST and ONLY option to choose from the Mulsanne line-up. If we're talking about the standard wheelbase, I'd much rather go for the new Flying Spur
Looks like they took the two tone color scheme from rolls Royce, ass well as the front grill, with them spread apart, it's a signature rolls royce look
would choose the muslanne lwb over rolls and maybach why because it has that road presence which the rolls and maybach dont have. having worked with mercedes I have driven the maybach and been in the rolls at a car event.
In Phoenix Arizona, If I were a first time buyer of such an expensive luxury vehicle, I would have to go with the rolls royce(any model) just becuase the front desighn is so bold and over the top, but If I already had owned a rolls royce, I would then choose the mulsane just to switch it up. I would use the car as a family luxury hauler/freeway cruiser/maby even travel in it.
The Mulsanne Speed is my choice, and I would use this beautiful car every day. We all know the story of W.O. designing the rotary engines for aircraft and the ghost of a pilot standing behind him, I feel that if I drove such a car recklessly on public roads W.O.s ghost in the rear seat would be shaking his head in disgust, that would make me enjoy the cars power and torque with respect for everyone else out there on the highways, but by paying a fee at a track day you could explore the limits of both car and myself, it's pure respect for all that makes me drive the way I do
Me I love the Mulsanne Extended wheel base. Why well since you ask because it looks so dog on Regal and elegant it a true business man or women automobile. Where would I take it .... well since you ask i would take it to my private Jet or to shopping centers business meeting. Great video Moto man
I would choose the old speed cause I hate this new grill thing, the old one is so much more composed. Would try to use it as daily with something light and fast for the weekend.
should focus more on the car while you present... as long as we could hear your voice. we want to view the car and know more about the car. anyway it's awesome... tq bro.
Motoman, I know that we have to be a diplomat when doing our job. We have to tell the truth, but we also want to create long extended relationships with our manufacturing partners. BUT placing that aside, I want your true opinion on the new iteration of the Mulsanne. My take is that I like the previous model. I thought it was a more well resolved design wise than this new model. I think that play with too many designs cliches on the front fascia. So, what is your take on this issue? Oh, yeah the biggest cliche of this updated model is the grille.
Kinda shared some of those thoughts with you in the episode. When I saw the lights in person, I was a bit torn and had to have a think on them. Now after editing three of 4 episodes and driving the cars in person, here's my thoughts: A mix of here and there. Definitely would prefer the lights and grille of the original - that includes the rear lights as well. However, prefer the new bumper cover of the new version as well as that amazing liquid amber wood - yes, even in a speed. LOVE the wheels of the Sequin Blue car in the episode but also love the wheels of the lighter blue car from our original episode back in 2012. Where I am still torn: The infotainment system - and it's all about the wood door. I do like the touch sensitive screen and Apple CarPlay but really loved being able to hide the screen. There - my two cents.
The app is still not quite working on Android. Still the same Instagram error. regarding the cars... I don't know. I don't like the styling... And Bentley... It's had a bit of a weird reputation last couple years? I think I'd go for a Rolls. Or maybe the older Maybach (57 or 62). Or just get rid of the showy car and get something more stealthy.
+Iftikhar Uddin GREATLY appreciate that you remembered!!!!!! We have quite a celebration planned this year . . . Keep an eye on our social media today . . . Thanks again for reaching out - getting to connect with other passionate car guys and gals has been one of the BIG reasons that made the past SEVEN years so amazing!
I'd go for the extended wheelbase because I can't imagine wanting to drive a 4 door 2 and half ton car, much prefer to be driven. My faviroute luxury car has got to be the phantom ewb or the jaguar xj autobiography even though it's not quite the same class. England
I would buy the Mulsanne (standard one) as how fast can you really go. The money I saved I would use for bespoke options. Then I would use it on my frequent business trips between Glasgow and London. I can't think of a better car.
Bentley Mulsanne extended wheelbase and take it to special occasion and and why cause it’s super super luxurious and that’s what I like I like luxury cars
The Grill mesh question ? Anywhere on earth and where man may be...... thinks that old stuff looks like shiny chain link fencing... .... ...Your all thinking it too.
I would choose the Mulsanne Speed. I live in Germany and would use it as my daily driver. The Rolls is so arriviste, and dare may I say, a little vulgar. Perhaps a Maybach would be nice, but debadged to look like a Stutttgart taxi. Who are we trying to impress?
I don't understand why these expensive business cars are not with driver separators. Why would you want your driver to know what you are talking on the phone or with other backseat passenger as a businessman
As far as I know, Rolls Royce doesn't offer a reclining rear seat/s like the Mulsanne or Maybach, so no Rolls. Between this and a Maybach, that's tough. The Maybach looks nice, has a lot of tech, but isn't special. Heck, I think the old/previous Maybach was (and still is) something special! So I guess that means I'd have the Mulsanne, even they the depreciation here in Australia is RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the biblical servicing costs. Umm, can I just have an old Maybach 62 S? Thanks! :D
Rolls Royce offers everything that a customer desires, there's a Rolls Royce Phantom lime light edition. Look it up if offers full reclining rear seats and everything that the mind can conceive.
+Bob808 yeah the RR phantom limelight just doesn't recline to the degree of the Mercedez or Bentley. Mercedez and Bentley went for that first class private jet feel. The RR phantom has been out for 14 years now and is dated. the new designed 2018 model will have all the goods when it drops. Their testing it now (see spied shots)
I think Bentley ruined the front design with the new grilles. If I had one, I would customize it to have just the mesh. Now picking in this segment is kinda difficult. The Mulsanne Speed has the power and old-world luxury, the Rolls-Royce Ghost has the prestige and legendary ride quality, and the Mercedes Maybach has the tech and modern luxury. Probably wouldn't choose the Mercedes Maybach because it's too similar to the S-class, despite having awesome tech like self-driving stuff. I am leaning more towards the Mulsanne. I am located in sunny SoCal, and probably would use this car to take friends out or for road trips.
I know Bentley has belonged to the Germans for a while now, but I still find it funny that the first thing I hear after clicking on this video is a German welcome.
Probably Mulsanne or Maybach, Ghost is a little clichéd in my opinion. Maybe if I could splurge for a phantom sure but everyone and there mother has a ghost as well
The guys from Throttle House said that the Mercedes Maybach doesn't compare to Rolls Royce or Bentley in terms of luxury. Salomondrin said something similar when his friend chauffeured him around in a Maybach.
The Phantom is my least favorite Rolls (unless it has two doors but that's another story) so that's out. Between the Mulsanne and the Maybach; if I'm driving then the Mulsanne Speed, if I'm going to be driven it's the back of the 'Bach for me. And if I must choose one, I'm going with my driving spirit and flying some Bs. Although I cringe at the new grille, it's "ok" I think the outgoing grille was the better one.
Hi the new grill looks awful it not bentley the should Have done it in mesh stainless like the blue train Mulsanne the rear of the car has no real signature its like a jag xf its not really a jag? the oldelights are better i think they have just lost a lot of sales its lost a lot of presents its meant to look mean but swarve.
@MotoManTV @BentleyMotors The last Queen of England was Queen Anne in 1709. There is no Queen of England. Queen Elizabeth is Queen of GB & NI Not England.
This facelift Mulsanne looks like a cheap Toyota! The old look was classy and powerful looking, maybe my favourite front end of any car. A sad day for engineering.
I hate the veins on the Mulsanne...it makes the car from being something special, to something designed by Fisher-Price...it looks bland and plain, and less exotic.. It looks like like a knock-off of some high-end Russian limo
I would go with the Maybach Mercedes-Benz because it has been the Pinnacle and it will always be the Pinnacle of luxury and it has fully reclining seats and heated and cooled armrest in seats and Bentley has copied Mercedes in terms of the first class airline look that mercedes-maybach came out with in 2014 and Mercedes is the safest car you can be in in case of wrecks and driving safety Innovations in Mercedes is the most comfortable and quietest car you can buy it's better than the 2018 Rolls Royce Phantom in the 2018 Bentley Mulsanne in my opinion.
Hey Peter - Thanks for the feedback on the App. Good news! We just made the fix and submitted it to both Apple iTunes and Google Play for review and release. Turns out Instagram changed their API again which caused the app to fail on Android and not display pics in iOS. What we have done is changed the UI to include a webview of pictures so as to avoid the Instagram API in the future thus not affecting App performance again. Look for an update in a day or so. Thanks for your patience and watching . . .

I've been subscribed to this channel for about seven months now and I don't regret a second of it. Amazing job MotoMan. 😎😀😉☺🤓👍
You spent a lot of time raving about the lights but then didn't show them turned on!
seriously though like wtf !!!
I will choose the Bentley Mulsanne Extended wheelbase because it the most elegant of them all, and i will use it to go to the university every day, and I am from the United Arab Emirates .
You want a cookie?
😂😂😂😂you know how Arabs roll
I absolutely love the Mulsanne Speed. All that power and performance, what's not to love.
Awesome presentation. Bentley motors are indebted to this well made video.
The grill of the Speed looks to busy to me... the old one looked neater...
It's an option
I live in the midwest United States. When the weather is nice, I would daily drive the Mulsanne Speed. Do people drive regular Mulsannes?

That's what I thought, but Google "Motoman tv", and u can see that it is actually a tv show that is broadcasted twice a week
Agree he could improve his amount of subscribers. He puts so much work into these videos which turn out great so this has always confused me as well.
+Abe From an As I said, I'm guessing that RUclips is kind of a second thing (like Jimmy Fallon) after the actual airing of the show on tv
larry Spiller 140, 041 subs now.
A very beautiful car. Much better looking than any Rolls Royce.

Way to stay in touch, Motoman!
A fost un test drive bun, care a meritat să fie văzut
Was a good test drive

Like the new blazer. Fits well. .
Can you get an iPad instead of the android tablet ? If not I'm not going to buy one
Yeah sure, an android tablet is what's stopping you
It was a joke you moron .. But I still don't like android stuff
+Scott Irons not the best joke considering lots of idiots say it in seriousness thinking they can trick so you just seem like one of them. Smart arse
Try writing in sentences so that I can understand what you are saying .. Something about a trick .

Bentley should make a heavy-duty pickup with this engine
Love the Speed

I'd go for the extended wheelbase because I can't imagine wanting to drive a 4 door 2 and half ton car, much prefer to be driven. My faviroute luxury car has got to be the phantom ewb or the jaguar xj autobiography even though it's not quite the same class. England
I would choose the maybach becuase it looks realy clean and nice and
Thank you thank you thank you for dressing decent.
Mulsanne Speed EWB to be driven to the office. 911 Targa GTS to drive to the office. Lamborghini Huracan for the weekend.
All VW, all good.
Rolls Royce Phantom Extended Wheelbase any day of the week.
Steve brown has made 2 Bentleys that are on youtube
I choose the Bentley Mulsanne Speed so I could show those god damn cocky Camaro drivers what a real beast is!

Umm, can I just have an old Maybach 62 S? Thanks! :D
Rolls Royce offers everything that a customer desires, there's a Rolls Royce Phantom lime light edition. Look it up if offers full reclining rear seats and everything that the mind can conceive.
RR probably offers reclining seats. If they don't i'm sure they can build them.
Thanks for that, first time I've seen reclining seats in a Phantom.
Mac Mac do u think if any one asks for that option they won't get it? It's the most customisable or bespoke car in the world.
I think Bentley ruined the front design with the new grilles. If I had one, I would customize it to have just the mesh.

Lol Steve brown built the engine that’s in the Mulsanne Speed that doh demuro reviewed 😂
"totally different direction on the opposite side" did you mean mirrored ? lol
I know Bentley has belonged to the Germans for a while now, but I still find it funny that the first thing I hear after clicking on this video is a German welcome.
Mesh grille was nicer. Not a fan of the vertical bars.
Look at 7:56... WOW!
Well I love mercedes so it will be either be the maybach long wheelbase or the mulsanne long wheel base. Long wheel base because it's longer why not
However to be driven I'd go with the maybach Pullman if that's an option
Probably Mulsanne or Maybach, Ghost is a little clichéd in my opinion. Maybe if I could splurge for a phantom sure but everyone and there mother has a ghost as well
My Mom has this car and it drive good, smooth lie a jet...
And my mom has a 250 gto
the old front looked better - don't like the new one...
it did...this new grill takes it two steps back behind a Rolls
It's available as an option
Mulsanne Speed everyday, because Extended is a Limo...
The S600 is probably as comfortable.. for 100K less
The guys from Throttle House said that the Mercedes Maybach doesn't compare to Rolls Royce or Bentley in terms of luxury.

Those bonnet struts looked a bit cheap
The car is amazing but the headligth are horribele
OMGSH they look like SUVS hight
Does anyone think its weird that the name plate of the guy that built the engine, is in such cheapy tacky looking font lol. Shit you see on Word haha
Yeah, plus the plastic looked like it bended when he reached in to touch the engine haha
you would fear to drive these cars among low class people.
Should have worn a tee and jeans…like a real millionaire.
Maybach S600. Far less money than the RR or Bentley and more tech+luxury. Plus, if you de-badge it, you can fly almost completely under the radar.
This facelift Mulsanne looks like a cheap Toyota!
The old look was classy and powerful looking, maybe my favourite front end of any car.
A sad day for engineering.
Aye
Veins plus mesh looks like an undecided child's design choice.
Way too busy!!
That new grill design is absolutely terrible.
I hate the veins on the Mulsanne...it makes the car from being something special, to something designed by Fisher-Price...it looks bland and plain, and less exotic.. It looks like like a knock-off of some high-end Russian limo
they ruined the grill
exactly....
Mesh is much nicer
first
ДИЗАЙН ПРОСТО ОТВРАТИТЕЛЬНЫЙ
COLOR BALANCE IS HORRIBLE! IT TAKES TWO SECONDS TO RAISE THE TEMPETURE
GREAT VIDEO THO LOL
a lame android tablet?? ahahahah
Too much of body language
Thanks for your patience and watching . . .
