I always forget guard is an option. I for some reaspn use a move that puts the enum in the aur
Eh, I very rarely need to guard. Mainly against the Titans really. If I have to use it against anything else it means I mistimed my attacks and left myself open XD Even then though it's still rare that I feel guarding is "needed"
I love eggmans voice it’s so fitting and a perfect combination of evil and comedic
I think the thing I liked the most about this game was the fact that Eggman did learn from his mistakes and each new Egg boss actually removed a weakness from the previous boss.

I never best sonic. Wanna know why? The last boss fight where you are super sonic taken out dark gaias shield. This game is one of the only games that can make me mad. Cough cough nightstages in new york and you have to walk across and the things would fall. You also had terrible sticks so it was even harder. But we all passed that. The last boss fight is also what really wanted me to rip someones eyes out. Love this game though with all my heart. I love the hawaii missions to. But you got me fucked up when I have to fight bosses like egg man 2nd stage scorpion which is difficult for me but I still beat it multiple times. Its just that last fffffcyking boss fight. I just wanna finish :(

@@xxzenonionnex7658 That's new, it's widely recognized Doom Eternal is irrationally harder than its prequel. I can beat Doom 2016 by using only Shotgun and no Chainsaw, up to Nightmare Difficulty, but such feat is never possible in Doom Eternal even on I’m Too Young To Die.

Or maybe is because Dark Guardian doesn't have a determinated gender, so Sonic uses they/them pronoums.

Joseph Heiskel well the difficulty in the wii isn’t that hard it’s so easy so nobody likes it and what would you expect for a final battle a piece of junk?
Also the motion controls in the Wii version feel much more natural than button inputs.

See i like these boss fights theyre pretty intense at times
Dark guardian Wii/Ps2: huge badass with electric power and really fast attacks, no QTM, it doesnt get paralyzed in 3-7 hits and you must puch him everytime you can hit him, only you, him and some monsters, no light blocks and he attacks most of time

No Chip have an idea for Sonic to be hit Dark Gaia's weakspot is his eyeballs while give him some time before he will kill Chip and Sonic.
This game is so much fun. I love it so much, it has awesome music, fun and challenging bosses, great level design, beautiful visuals, ABSOLUTELY BADASS COMBAT, fun Tornado sections, great story, great cutscenes, it is the reason why I love Sonic, it is why I started loving this series, this is the best game I've ever played. I still love it and I will forever. (Aside from the PS2/Wii version which thank god I did not play. I played it on the PS3.)

the final theme of Dark Gaia is such a masterpiece. Even if its a sorta remake of the solaris theme, this one add a little sinister but yet epic vibe. Wii or Xbox version, both are great. I like the gameplay of wii and the speed tracking on the shield on Xbox. I got to play on wii cuz..well i had a wii but sonic unleashed is by far one of my beloved sonic childhood game.
Personnaly, on my top childhood sonic i have Sonic Unleashed. Very like the gameplay and speed sensation
Sonic Chronicles: Despite his flaws and story very copied on the dark brotherhood on archie comics, as a child i enjoyed playin multiple character and having different choice interactions with the crew.
Sonic Riders zero gravity: Loved the overboard thing, love to play multiple characters, enjoyed the gravity sensation and oh boi! The final boss scared the shit out of my 9 poor Years old. I could also play silver on that game so..yeah pretty happy.
I become a sonic fan pretty late cuz i wasnt born with the first game. Sonic Adventure was too old for me and i enjoyed more spin off than main series game. Didnt catch black knight and seven rings cuz i didnt have a wii at this time. I tried sonic heroes but at an age too Young so i never looked up to it, and i discover the 2d game very late.
Sonic Generation was cool but i stopped after it. Colors seemed weird to me and with forces...i was angry. Big expectation, medium game instead. Not a big fan of sonic mania cuz, i didnt discovered sonic with the 2d games. Even if theyre cool.
Anyway, instead of mario, sonic have personnality and all his crew so. And i love it. Screw the bland plumber, lets kick ass with the blue blur!

I think perfect dark Gaia is the most badass and epic boss out of any sonic game, except 06 because solaris was pretty damn epic too, but this fight has something that the solaris fight doesn't have.
So many of these levels drove me close to insanity! Lol
I kinda wished they kept the part on dark gaia were you fly around him dodging his swipes and having to smash all of his eyes as super sonic. Like maybe have it after you destroy the shield? Either way, this game in my opinion was the best sonic game

I like how the Egg Lancer's framerate fluctuates extremely from 15fps to 60.
That's because the fps on ps3 is unlocked. On xbox 360 it's locked to 30 /40 one of them so you experience less fps drops. When unleashed is running at 60 it's beautiful but it's so rare that it ain't worth the fps drop

This game is over 10 years old and we seriously debating about which version is better. Smh I own the Wii version, I enjoy it. Where the hell are the fans that just appreciate the game itself and not argue about which version is better?

The Deeshter I was certainly disgusted seeing Dark Gaia transformation into Perfect Dark Gaia, I was more terrified, mostly because I was a little girl when I first encountered him. He still creeps me out now. 😰

1. The tornado defense is legit trash So happy the wii/PS2 version did not have it. 2. It doesn't count as a boss because it's a mini boss. 3. Even the eggman land version was WAY too easy.
With the WereHog bosses when you're asked to attack the necessary parts all you need to do it a fully charged comet punch, it will take the health so far down that the quick time event don't even matter worked for me

Where both versions shine(gameplay-wise):
HD/Original = Daytime Sonic
Wii/PS2 = Werehog Sonic
Imagine a remake that uses this version as the base and use the Werehog from the Wii/PS2 version! That would make the mechanic a bit more tolerable.
For the Dark Moray it's possible to take out 2 of the green things by freezing it, jumping and press Y twice to attack the spot on its back, and on the ground spam Y
And so Devil ray 1 minutes 24 seconds small damage

How'd you get you here so quickly
I think Anon7906 had a little too much fun when dashing side to side during the Egg Beetle Boss Fight. But what do I know? I have the PS3 version of Sonic Unleashed, which along with the Xbox 360 version, are the better versions compared to the PS2 and Wii versions, and I haven’t even got to the first Boss in the game because I’m struggling with the first Tornado Stage, the one to Spagonia.

I can never figure out the quick step speed glitch lol
It's the interceptor glitch i don't use it but it's so helpfull if the m or d-speed is too difficult or too way complex if you really want to speedrunnig in this game, in night time stages just use the combo i'll show you: square triangle triangle and then shield button at the right time while attached through the wall to be out of bounds in some levels or trasspas doors like skyscrapper scamper night
A game I never finished and will have a chance to beat the whole game because my Xbox died on me June 27 2017....im like half done but I never beat the game....
