I would rate Marathas to be No.1 , seeing the history and Gurkha were not were to be seen then. They were living on the hills and there was no other way of employment, hence they joined military in heavy numbers. That does not mean they were bravest.

joint military exercise is not enough to prove we are superior we need better,excellent equipment,weapon systems,fifth generation tanks,laser weapon systems and more mountain division on Indo china border should be increased and need to built perment airbases in arunachal Pradesh,tripura,shillong and need to increase air arm capabilities in all forces like land,air,sea jai hind.
