I tapped the Like button within the first minute and the rest of the piece (which I hadn't heard previously) didn't disappoint. Congratulations to both composer and performer. It's a sweet and subtle, short and intricate crowd-pleaser. Certain crowds will be pleased, at any rate.
A long time ago, you posted what I think must be my favorite performance of Phrygian Gates on your website. It would be great to hear that one again in full. Also the Ives Concord Sonata. You know, in case you have it lying around.
Of course I have both those things lying around. But your memory deceives you! Those recordings were made in my irresponsible and carefree youth and are not good, I can assure you! Someday I will bring the “Concord” back into my rep (can you get me a gig?)
Tremendous. Thanks Timo.
Very nice easy listening type of piece by john adams

“Certain crowds will be pleased” is a perfect summary of my entire career. Thank you.
Beautiful 🎶💜
Wonderful.
I appreciate the delicacy of your playing--also the slow burn build of intensity near the middle.
wow, thanks!
How do you study this? I really need to know. Not necessarily by heart, but to be able to read it
