The Miami draw has come out - it looks like Carlito will have to overcome Paul then Fritz or Rune, then Zverev or Sinner, and finally Meddy or Tsitsipas or FAA in the final. Not an easy draw by any stretch of the imagination: Alcaraz - Paul Fritz - Rune Ruud - Zverev Sinner - Rublev Hurkacz - Norrie/Coric De Minaur/Berrettini - Medvedev FAA - Tiafoe Kachanov/Musetti - Tsitsipas
Zverev is a bit of a tough matchup for Alcaraz when he plays his best. He’s strong off both wings, first serve is good enough to get free points, and he’s quick enough to defend. But Alcaraz has so many tools at his disposal that I think he beats Zverev. Not to mention, I don’t think Zverev is quite at his best just yet; he probably should’ve won that Indian Wells match against Medvedev. Maybe by RG these two will be ready for a rematch. That would be really fun
Novak has somehow escaped from the beatings of alcaraz in both IW and miami.. Such a lucky player still hiding behind vaccine reasons and fearing to face 19 yr old😂😂
