    Your upgrade is a lot cleaner than that old big one. Joel needs to mock up something similar. And yes I love all your vids on this channel and your other, please keep them coming

      I agree... I love all of these videos. I have actually modded my trim system a few times... the latest version is pretty slick. ruclips.net/video/Gnjuk6wZ6m4/видео.html

    This was awesome. Again, so impressed at your ability to think of something in your head and just whip it up into a functional, awesome looking part! I agree there is no need for a return spring. That water pressure is way more than enough force to snap that nozzle back into neutral position when you release the lever. Awesome job! Love these kinds of videos! I have an engineering degree and the more I watch your fabricating skills the more I think machinists and fabricators are more qualified than us guys who wasted a fortune sitting through a few years of lectures just to get a piece of paper. Awesome video!

      Here's the thing.... we are all smart as long as we realize we're kind of idiots also. I think the day after I filmed this you said something about x2 trim. Glad you liked it and after all is said and done.... The x2 does not need trim at all. It doesn't really do very much. Machinists always get pissed off at engineers but you don't know what you don't know. If you ever looked something up on the internet you'll know that everybody is a career engineer.

      NO!!! The head pipe curves back and sideways way to far. Not even close I tried to test fit it. The krash is way tall I think the carb side also has trouble.

    There is a tab on the trim system that prevents full motion, cut that off and you'll get way more upwards angle

    Man.... I would have fell over so many times during that riding at the end, hahah !! What engine was in it at the time of this filming ? 720 ... 820 ? I've watched all the videos at least twice but I still don't remember. It looks like fun and like it works pretty good for an X2. I find the hole in the hull right over the opening to the carburetor funny 😂 I love it.
    The trim system on these needs a lot of modification to be really effective and the steering is also pretty limited. I loved this video, not just because it has an X2 ... I just like this kinda raw footage type thing, and working on junk, basically .... You have inspired me to install the 650 into the 750 hull... video coming soon hopefully ... I'm going to actually wait until it is done before releasing a video.

    • @Jacobskibros
      @Jacobskibros 2 года назад +1

      Man that 750 is going to be good! I hope you can get the supercharger working, but all in good time. The guy I gave my 650 swapped 750ss (aka 969 cheater) bought a 260 psi head and I traded him the beloved buckshot carb. Also I made him a 1 foot extended ride plate that looks hilarious.

      This was the day we had the bob out and boy is the 300 hull bad in the rough! This x2 had a 750. I can't keep track of my stuff either. I really need to sell some skis but it's been a bad year so far for that. Your x2 would have been a blast out there!

    • @superjetskibros

      650 into a 750 hull sounds like a money maker ski to me. 👍 Will be interesting to see how it works out for you though.

      @@Jacobskibros HAHA... I'm not sure how much of this comment to take seriously ...
      The plan for the 650 / 750 is to get it working, maybe pick up some babes ... then once i've got the babes, sell the ski, cause babes like money... not skis.
      But for real tho. I'm probably going to take it out a few times. Maybe talk a few of my friends into coming out for a rip with me and then sell it to fund other things. Unless something better comes along, my plan is to build up something with the 750 in it. I tried to talk a guy into trading me my 650 engine for his SX 650 ... no go. Maybe I will be able to trade the 650/750 for another more interesting ski.
      I would still like to work on the supercharger build, but I was looking at it the other week, and I learned enough building the first one that I think I would do it differently and it would take a lot less time... Plus, I'm a little better at welding now.

      @@Jacobskibros I would like to see a 750 or 800 with an aggressive prop... I was going to try to talk BJ into fitting the 16/24 concord (that I didn't get) onto his 650, just as a laugh ... I mean... I just want to see first hand what would happen.
      I'm guessing that it's not good to have a bob ski that doesn't handle rough water well... I don't really know much about it tho. Are you having a hard time selling stuff, or just not getting anything together to sell ?
