Yay Joe and Sadie!!! So cute together!!! During the bonding, I kept thinking of Marie, the white cate from Aristocats..”I’m a lady. I don’t start fights, but I can finish them” 😂😂. Congrats to the new couple ❤
Thanks for this. Very interesting to see a male female bonding session.
So glad you were able to get Joe a companion. They both are very precious. Thank you for the update. ❤❤
Oh Joe looks so happy, Sadie is a gorgeous girl! Two happiest piggies, together at last. Such a sweet video, but certainly a trial to begin with ❤.

What an awesome video! Welcome Sadie. You are one beautiful young lady! Oh Joe, you just make my heart melt EVERYTIME I see you. You have come such a long ways. Where did Sadie come from? Sending nothing but good vibes to Joe and Sadie! 💑
She is a San Diego gal! One of the shelters there spayed several females and I was able to get her and then another girl who will be paired with one of our other single boys here at the rescue.
@@SoCalGuineaPigRescue That is wonderful! Sadie is so beautiful! Joe deserves to have him a friend. Joe looks so good. You are one special person Val. Thank you!!! 💕
Yay Joe got a girlfriend!
This was VERY unprofessionally done. I mean WHO goes on a blind date NAKED??? 🤣🤣🤣
😂 Joe still has to learn about manners
😂😂😂😂😂
Ok, so Joe is neutered. Good good good. I hope they live a long happy life together!
Wait. he isn't? I'm confused. I know she is spayed but he could still force himself on her if he's not neutered. No babies, but still potential trauma for her. Maybe I'm mistaken, idk. But an intact female with a neutered boar makes a lot more sense than an intact boar with a spayed female, right?
So no hes’s not neutered. Ourselves and Wee Companions have successfully placed spayed females with un neutered males over the last few years. Spaying reduces the risk of reproductive issues later on and we find that these pairings work really well. The males don’t typically try to chase and mount the females any more than a neutered male would. And yes neutered males still can and do mount their cage mates. I wouldn’t believe it if I hadn’t experienced it myself. For years I was hesitant to place a fixed female with un neutered male but I’ve changed my mind on that after having experienced the dynamics first hand.
@@SoCalGuineaPigRescueQueen Valerie. So knowledgeable! ❤
@@SoCalGuineaPigRescue so if the female doesn’t have those hormones, males leave them alone? Well, that’s very fortunate for them. 😄 thanks for clarifying!
My pair is a fixed boy and a non-fixed girl.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
