Mick’s going to release his debut solo album early next year and now he’s saying early in the interview that he’s working on a second solo album?! I couldn’t be happier! Gotta love Mick!🤘🏻
Mick Mars=Class Act!! Down to earth and real. It’s all about the music. This man is genuine as they have ever been made!! So cool to see an interview into the mind of this incredible musician!!🤘🏻
Great interview, thank you for it! One thing struck me, he doesn't like his looks? He is such an amazingly beautiful man, he looks great, no reason to be ashamed!
The 4h fair where he seen Skeeter Bonn was in Huntington indiana. My mom micks aunt Annie then bought mick his first guitar and was the one that pushed him to chase his dream. Thanks to mick I got to meet a lot famous bands and people. He's inspired me so much pushing through the pain. I owe him a million thank yous. Congratulations on your new album Mick
It would be awesome to see Mick do a 10 day out of the year kind of deal. That situations would make his shows special and loyal fans would appreciate seeing him live because of the limited times.
I was 12 years old in 1983 when Shout at the Devil came out. I saw the album in a record store with my dad and he bought it for me. I was blown away sitting in the living room blaring it on my dad's stereo. I lived, breathed, and existed everything Motley Crue to this day at 52 years old. I feel like you are a brother Mick. Keep being bad ass!
This man has been one of my top two childhood heroes on guitar. Ace Frehley being the other. So good to see Mick’s music finally coming out, been seriously waiting on this for a long time! Awesome interview, thank you 🙏
My brother from another mother! I feel the same as a kid growing up in the late 60s early 70s! Ace was the man and yes Mick and the Crue were my thang in the 80s! I was on the strip in those glory days!! What a great time to be alive in LA and a late teen, young adult..
My favorite guitar player, killer new song! Great mars riff. Mick is awsome, I got to meet him many years ago and he was very cool, humble, just a real guy. I cant say the same for the others.
I am so happy for Mick that he is doing well as he can do. I like that the important thing he is free from the sinking ship MC now and have the opportunity to create what he wants. It is a joy to listen to micks thoughts, insights and reflections...he is a great hero to me and a man of honest respect, gratitude for what he created and creates. You rock MIck 🤘🤘
My buddy Dan Spitz from Anthrax always said he loves Mick Mars, his feel and tone is the best in the business. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a full interview with Mick… Awesome!
I realize it's hard for Mick to do a tour with his condition, but I would totally love to see him do a live concert and record it for us to buy. That would satisfy my Live experience. Much respect Mick.
Mick, such a class act. I remember the first time I saw Motley opening for Kiss on Creatures tour, and Motley blew Kiss off the stage, in large part due to Mick's amazing playing and attitude. Stay classy, stay awesome Mick.
Yo Mick, You have my full support. So glad you have the opportunity to do this. Behind what was Motley Crue is so much that couldn't get out. This is a golden opportunity for you and I am proud of your personal victory over so many obstacles, and especially your pain. Awesome man. Much love and respect. P.S. Hope you are still taking to Oz Fox. You two would make a bad ass collaboration. Peace brother. 🤟🎭 - Savagized_Beatz
The new single is amazing! Super heavy and the video is cool as hell. Mick was always a huge influence to me as a guitarist and so glad to hear new music. Can't wait for the rest of the album!
MICK!! You are one of my most favorite people in the world. I'm thrilled to see/hear you doing interviews for your album. Had a smile on my face throughout this interview....but I wanted to step into BraveWords' booth and take over the questions! I have many great questions to ask you about your music, creative process, specific songs, the progression of your career (going back to Pre-Motley). Adding to your list of songs w/riffs you are (should be!) proud of, gotta have "Primal Scream", "City Boy Blues", and "The Dirt". Please do some small club shows. Stand, sit, lay down or whatever is fine....get comfortable and just play! I'll be there!!
Just a great 'Riff Meister' and no doubt he is a more than capable Lead guitarist! No Rockstar nonsense or boasting here ,he seems a regular and humble lad! I wish Mick the Best with his health and new albums which I'm very impressed with!
RE: Riffs that Mick is most proud of - "Sticky Sweet", absolutely. My favorite pre-Corabi riff is "Slice Of Your Pie". With Corabi... probably Uncle Jack.
To whom it may give a fuck, The first song and music aside, this and Trunk's interview is for this Cruehead of 39 years the epitome of the cover of Entertainment or Death (Theatre of Pain). I simultaneously shed a couple of tears while smiling. Mother Fucking Mick Mars is a true gentleman, humble, and just cut from a different cloth. His concern for others and his unnasuming disposition is a dark breath of fresh air. My relationship with The Crue's music since '84 has always made them feel like family to me. Often getting me through the darkest of times. However, this Cruehead stands with The Other Side of Mick Mars! I'm extremely disappointed with the Toxic Twins; T-Bone and Sixx really fucked up this time. I know it sounds strange but, it feels like a true betrayal of a broken family for me. That being said, I'm really looking forward to this album. Mick is truly avant-garde in his artistry and the heart of the band formally known as.....I'll never say their name again. Let's leave Planet Boom, fly right on by The Last Band on the Moon, and all meet up on The Other Side Of Mars.
Mick has had quite the journey. Through it all, his playing has always had a certain tone and sound to it. It’s highly addictive to the ears! He is truly a gifted musician with a style all his own. So stoked about this album! Go Mick go!!!
Mick glad to see your doing well Brother i just know your albums gonna be better than any motley record and i know your into the blues too so dawm cant hardly wait Brother
Mick is an excellent guitar player! And without his riffs... Motley Crue wouldn't be what we know today! It's extremely unfortunate what Nikki did to Mick. Hard to believe that he's not with Motley anymore.
My heart sank for Mick when he said that he doesn't like the way he looks anymore. That's a major statement to make from the guy! I'm surprised that Mick didn't mention Rory Gallagher.
I'm happy to see Mick out doing his own thing. The new single sounds good, and it's not out of place with modern music. The solo could have been longer but overall it's good. Cool. He was always the sane and calm member of the Crüe, and he definitely carried them for years. John 5 is obviously a shredder, and now he's probably the only person in the band that's not a drama queen. It's a shame Mick doesn't read music, he'd have a chance of getting the music from his head onto a recording. But it's okay, he's a cool guy and I've been a fan since Theater Of Pain was new and I was in the 6th grade. Hearing them the first time turned me into a longhair for life.
I grew up with motley crue from the start, I always remember the article in kerrang in 1982 under the headline" CRUE'S MISSILE"!!! AND THEY DIDN'T LOOK GLAM!!! A BIT WEIRD BUT NOT LIKE FUCKING POISON OR SOMETHING!!!! NICE ONE MICK!!! GOOD FOR YOU MATE
Dude u do NOT need your flag to let the world know that u are Canadian. You look Canadian and you definetly talk and sound like a Canadian. Good video. How lucky are u to be one of the first foreign countries to get an interview. Ive heart that he has also done Denmark and Poland too!
What's wrong with being proud to be Canadian. And why would you point that out as your #1 opinion about the interview. Much like Tim, I am a proud Canadian, and we like to tell people we're Canadian as much as we can because we are the best country in the world. And I really don't understand your comment, " You look Canadian and you definitely talk and sound like a Canadian"
Mick may not be able to articulate the words, but he's a genius. Mick may have self doubt, but he has all the gifts. This man has been abused and disregarded.Shame on Motley.Especially Nikki.I support Mick 1000%.
No ego, no headlines, no BS. Just an awesome guitar player and composer. Mick Mars you're the shit dude. 🤘😔
if only the rest of the band was this honest, with themselves. Mick, you are a class act.
Mick’s going to release his debut solo album early next year and now he’s saying early in the interview that he’s working on a second solo album?! I couldn’t be happier! Gotta love Mick!🤘🏻
Absolutely 10000%
Mick is just a real simple guy cause the real rockstars are regular guys Mick is just badass best guitarplayer and composer ever 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻❤️❤️❤️

I'm so glad Mick Mars is doing his own thing.🇺🇲👍 That's Awesome.!
Thank you so much for posting this. The first NEW interview with Mick where we can see him talk about the album
I'll support anything Mick does he's a killer blues rock guitarist and writes some really memorable songs and riffs.
My buddy Dan Spitz from Anthrax always said he loves Mick Mars, his feel and tone is the best in the business. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a full interview with Mick… Awesome!
Mick is the reason I picked up the guitar. So happy that he is back in front showing off his immense talent! Go Mick!
Mick is my hero. I have been a fan since 15. I'm now 40 and have been playing since then too. I have seen him live 6 times. I can't for this album.
The more I find out about Mr Mick Mars the more I adore him as a musician and songwriter.
I realize it's hard for Mick to do a tour with his condition, but I would totally love to see him do a live concert and record it for us to buy. That would satisfy my Live experience. Much respect Mick.
Fantastic interview. Mick Mars! ❤
Mick, such a class act. I remember the first time I saw Motley opening for Kiss on Creatures tour, and Motley blew Kiss off the stage, in large part due to Mick's amazing playing and attitude. Stay classy, stay awesome Mick.

THANK YOU FOR THIS INTERVIEW!!!!!!!! MICK's NEW SINGLE IS EPIC!!! #TeamMick
Finally Mick Mars' first single shows to the world that he is not only a guitar legend but also a great composer
and the only real talent motley crue ever had
Paul Taylor from Winger wrote most of the album
@@mottosierra1372 Tommy Lee doesn't have talent?
Mick is being a traitor to motley Crüe , he should have got permission from Nixki Sixx
