MIck was the only one from Motley that isn't a ego maniac. His character speaks for itself. It was a blessing he left. He can now go out on top with what he loves. The Crue is nothing but a complete embarrassment for cash these days.

With the opening band that Volbeat had which was a devil worshiping band, turned me off from Volbeat after being at that concert and being a huge fan. It was really disappointing. Then I started thinking about how Michael always says "horns up" and Devil in so many songs, hmmm.

A lot of shredding honestly sucks. It's impressive, but it's not memorable. It's just flashy and not good... I'm glad you can go that fast.... but it's not good for the ear.

Holy f*ck! Caught King Diamond last night with Overkill in Las Vegas at the Virgin hotel. Wow, the whole KD band was pretty incredible, music was dead on and King sounded great :) Overkill was ok, was hoping for tracks off the Taking Over album, but none. I saw them once on TOP tour..I swear his guitar tech hit a chord before the lights went out and it rattled my nuts..

Revisiting the album, I found it actually still was pretty good and had that scorpions’ touch on almost all the tunes I really enjoy woman, under the same sun, and Lonely nights, and the cover of Marie’s the name of his latest flame as the hidden track at the end of the album was charming though not the best cover of that song. Overall in my opinion a very underrated album. :)
