Thanks for making such a great video! I am doing a similar analysis, but with categorical variables (30 items, yes/no) in a 4 factor model. Would procedures be identical to your video if using categorical data? What are the differences to consider? Thanks!!!
Hey everyone. I tried to calculate an error correlation matrix just the way Erin did it in minute 22, but R will give me a $cov instead of $cor. What could be the reason for that? Any ideas?
@@StatisticsofDOOM Bah...sorry Erin. I thought RUclips would give me a note once you had answered...now I see that you already did. So, yes! I did use the residuals(fit, type = "cor") function and R won't give me any error notifications. But when I want to view the table I just have the option to choose View(correl$cov) and even if I ignore that and type in view(correl$cor) it will give me the Covariance Matrix...
Hello, Trying really hard to figure this out. I'm trying to fit a 2 factor model with PANAS. The following is what I get. What am I doing wrong? It keeps on saying the first variable is not found, but it is there... > PANAS.model fit
Thank you so much. It was easily understood.
perfect, thanks so much

Maybe the residuals function has changed ... you did residuals(fit, type = "cor")?

I just started to work with R (Version 3.6.2). Do I have to install any other packages or something like that to make it work?
I just tried it again. It actually gives me nothing when I type in view(correl$cor). It just gives me a white window with nothing in it...
Any idea? =/
Thank you so much, you made it clear and easy and that was exactly what I needed!

Hi can, I get the link for the dataset that you mentioned in the example. please......
+Erin Buchanan Thank you very much....
+Erin Buchanan did you removed them?
semPaths wont work with me :( It always says "Input string neither an existing file or Lavaan model." Help? Anybody?
What are you putting in as the arguments?
@@StatisticsofDOOM already fixed the Problem! Thanks anyway :)
