I hate to say this but i must admit that once i see those games it makes me freaking damn miss the early 2000’s and even back then i was already saying that i missed the 90’s sooo much, I also freaking hate to say it but eventrough i found the gba versions of those games do sound more noisy BUT i now do have to admit that those used instruments and sounds effects just do sound more dynamic more clearer at full length as opposed to those cut down and stretches audio samples on the snes wich do just sounding flat, all despite the snes do have a supirior soundchip over the gba soundchip, The main problem? Most game dev’s only used the snes audio ram to squeeze all sound samples inside rather then using it as a buffer to stream data itrough ,also because of the extra required expensive memory space on the cartride back then, wich also limited the amound of sound effects you wanna put in as well, only a few snes games do make use of sound swapping on the fly, thus resulting in much better audio quality then the gba ever could do. The reason i say this because i was always a huge snes fan,i still do like the snes but i do that there could be waaay more done on that system then they probably want you to know about it.
