- Hi guys! Mumbai is known for traffic jams, delicious street food, night clubs, and aesthetic cafes and I am so excited to have a home in Bombay. I finally completed every bit of Mumbai flat and I am so proud of it! Here is the house tour of my small but cute living situation here, in Mumbai. Yes, MY HOUSE, मेरा घर. Still cannot believe it. I am trying to deal with the adulting game. Adulting and living alone is tough but I am trying to get a hang of it. I hope you guys like the video! Instead of keeping those awards in windows and all, make a space for it on your shelf as it will remind you about you accomplishments. Throw some fairy light and decor the shelf and put those awards in you shelf section. It will look more appealing.
And Sejal you can also keep inspiring quotes in wooden frames with some succulents to decorate the shelf 😊

I watched this video last year when it got uploaded and watching it again cuz I liked it and I'm shocked to see the negativity here and exhausting. I still think Sejal has done a great job with house. It's really hard to decorate such houses without changing flooring and disturbing the basics.

Seeing a lot of people are commenting that ohh we are middle class we can't afford this and that. Guys she is working hard and earning for herself so start working and stop complaining. There was this great quotation I saw somewhere on Instagram : if you are 18 and saying you are middle class, it's ok but if you are 22 and saying that you are middle class it's not okay. Guys work to achieve the lifestyle you want and give some relief to your parents.

You can keep books and some photoframes on the glass shelf.....To make it more vibrant just hang fairy lights around 😋
You can add a small aloe plant and add some books and some fairy lights for the happy vibe. Also if you want add another mirror in your hallway to make it look much wider

I have a little suggestion for you...You can give a makeover to your old godrej almirah with a wooden wallpaper...It will look great!!
I think Sejal if u think the rack is near the dressing table, u can add some makeup paintings near over putting all ur favorite cosmetics, for a finishing touch u can add some small long wall hangers to make that place more unique.

To pump up the existing furniture and those old almirahs and shelves, you could get a coat of deep blue, or retro red paint on them.
Will save them from rust and instantly brighten and make them feel like all the new furniture that you love.

1.You can paint the Godrej cupboard in a stylish way.
2.Wall stickers can change the story of boring walls but I don't think you have enough walls for that.
3. You can try tarpaulin / synthetic artificial flooring in a light - bright colours which are easy to clean. (invest if you are planning to stay here for a long time )
4. Some fairy lights and net canopy if you like.
5. Add some bean bag
Add fairy lights somewhere im your room..probably the shelves where all your makeup stuff is kept

3. By the side of the swing, try putting a better carpet/footmat
4. Moving out is more troublesome and expensive that it seems for you. Since you are an Influencer, you get a lot of stuff for free.
5. Shoe cabinet is a great idea, because it helps in keeping the whole house clean but try segregating the shoes into sneakers, heels, flip flops etc.
6. Get a side table or a stool to keep near the switch board.
7. Put more mirrors in the house to increase lighting without increasing the electricity bill.

Also, If you use white Long Curtains, it gives very fresh look to the house.
You can actually stick a wallpaper backside of the laundry bag , you can do block print on the almarah which looks ethentic and the empty shelf you can make some photo frames with ice cream sticks , Dream catchers and your favorite books and sejal u should avoid plastic plants plz ....u can search in google and find out some real plants which can survive without water for maximum one week

In your dressing table shelves you can keep books (if you read them) and succulent plants. You can keep retro things like painted kettle maybe.
Using wallpaper to jazz the furniture is a quick n cheap tip. Also, you can jazz up the entryway with some retro posters set up as a giant collage. Take it on the walls n stick it up on the doors so it doesn't break up the space at all..
There's a man in Versova who sells antiques. He has a humongous collection of posters and tons of vintage stuff you can use for decor. Bargain good and he'll give it to you at super sexy amounts.
