Adam sits down with "Freaky" director Chris Landon to discuss how the pandemic can be a creative killer, mixing other genres with horror, creating creative kills, and if we'll ever see a Happy Death Day 3.
Freaky is a 2020 American comedy slasher film directed by Christopher Landon, from a screenplay by Landon and Michael Kennedy, and starring Vince Vaughn, Kathryn Newton, Katie Finneran, Celeste O'Connor, and Alan Ruck. A twist on Freaky Friday, the film tells the story of a high school student who unintentionally switches bodies with a serial killer. Jason Blum serves as a producer under his Blumhouse Productions banner.

I didn’t see anything about Freaky until earlier today; thank you for making me aware that it’s directed by Chris Landon! He’s underrated as one of the masterminds behind the Paranormal Activity series so I’m glad to see him making a name for himself in horror comedy; it’s definitely a misunderstood genre but I have hope for it with movies like Happy Death Day and Ready or Not coming out lately. I’ll definitely be watching Freaky!
