Neat coincidence I noticed:
4:35:06 Shen (Emerald) finds Itemfinder for Chris (Emerald) in Fiery Path.
5:04:49 Chris (Emerald) finds Itemfinder for Shen (Emerald) in Fiery Path, the exact same check as Shen's game.
2:15:30 .... the facepalm from Shen, when Chris realized, his Gyarados had Drought. Legendary!

Dude Archipelago is so fun! The discord has regular "sync" games where people basically do this video constantly! I've gotten so good at Hollow Knight rando it's awesome!

The wildest part was definitely walking from Lillicove to the Winstrates and then back to Lillicove, all without Rock Smash nor a bike.
Shen's speedrunner/runescape player mentality of minimum downtime is sooooo satisfying especially early. (Inching up towards intro rival fight)

Watched a few of your Archipelago Randomizers and they are alot of fun. Wondering (as a way to put a different spin on it) if it's possible to connect pokedex entries to release a check. Example: Reveal a zubat's pokedex entry and you may get a potion or a badge. Catch/trade a Mr. Mime and you may get an HM to unwall you. It would provide more of a catch'em type of playthrough and hunting different mons from different games. Thanks and enjoy playing!
I do know that Red/Blue have a Dexsanity option that does exactly that; when you catch a Pokemon and record it in your Pokedex it sends out a check.

2:26:42 I personally dislike watching heavily edited content. I'd rather watch the whole VOD and have one long video I watch over a few days,
I still sometimes watch more edited highlights, but if then the VOD comes out a long time later, it's often a bit jarring, espacially if you know from highlights things like rule changes or advancements in the software.
A good balance, from my perspective as a viewer, I've seen with a few other creators is having the VOD delayed by about a week. Gives the highlights a chance to shine but delivers the VOD still very close to the relevant highlights, before many significant changes happened to the tech or rules that might make old VODs harder to enjoy.

Archipelago doesn't list Emerald as a supported game, how did you get it to work?
Emerald is also merged into the project for the next Archipelago release version (0.4.4). There's a pre-release version of Archipelago you can install that allows you to create multiworlds using the game. You'll have to do some reading to learn how to use it, but Emerald is definitely playable today.

archipelago has autotrackers for Pokemon, it's called poptracker! I found it in their Discord

This is just bullshit and should be illegal, but nobody does anything against it and just takes it like a little coward...
so,eone made a remix with the theme and contendID now claims the original. the thing is only the the real owner of the track, so nintendo, could realisticly stop this but they don´t care.
